Cheech I got mine today also thank you, I have 4 days off starting friday to start doing 1 or 2 rebuilds. I think I am going to do 1 wire on a 2mm screw driver and another on a 3mm to see which is better, I think the 3mm is close to a 5/32 drill bit. To tired to try tonite, have not had a day off for over a week so I could 4 days off fri-mon :)

Cool Beans! Please keep us posted when you are well rested and building.
I figure if I can get away with the crappy coils I make (as evidenced in the pics) this should be an easy one for all!

To any that are waiting, They seem to be getting through our torturous mail system!

Beats me. I live in California so we don't even have an (English) normal sunlight here. :)

I have my clear tanks with me all the time--on the beach, in my garden, in my car. Nothing ever turned clear in my 5+ years of vaping...

Me tinks Katya sucks da juice out to quickly! ;)

I ordered one in a co-op with some Tanks. I think they will work great from videos.:2c: Building tight coils seems to give better flavor and last longer for me. But that could just be my perception:D

It ain't. Properly tensioned coil are really much, much better than those wound without any tension. IMO, you can achieve better tension with hand wrapping than with those master winders--they just form a coil...

I use Cigatron's cigamajig and it's the easiest one for me--I also bought a deluxe coil winder from Michael's but it doesn't come with the correct size mandrels. Heck, a simple pin vise will make better coils than those coilers. But that's just my opinion.

And here's Cig's blog with instructions on how to make one:

And the gizmo--Super's favorite device.

My advice is to use the largest bit that will fit in the slot--I always keep my coil on the bit when I mount it to avoid disfiguring the coil. :)

Thanks Kataya, you never fail to impress me with the lengths you go to to provide info. But I think I can get good coils from one of these ($7 in the co-op closed) and if not I'll just keep hand wrappin. :)

Keep us posted! I'd love to hear what you think about that coiler.

I like easy. :D

The price started at $4 bucks in the co-op but later with shippin it was 7 but I just took it anyway. I like the way that guy in the video took the 2 wraps off the ends. I've done that to lower my ohms but not just to tighten a coil.

:D

I love my cigamajig.

If you have any questions, ask Cigatron. He's very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Just send him a PM. Tell him that Katya sent you. :p

Good luck!

I have considered several devices and firmly believe in the KISS rule and this fits the bill.
Again, you lit a candle in my darkness!

Still using it this morning, let it sit overnight to see if it leaked. No runs, drips or fouls.
May have misaligned it on the first install...
Good Morining!
That's insane! I was just throwing it out there after the tea bag material was brought up.

I can see the threads now:
1. Where can I get coffee filters
2. You have to use organic filters
3. Boil your filters
4. Why do I get a sore chest and low tire pressure using Coffee filters
5. Coffee filters are the Devil
6. Coffee filters turned my Sister into a Newt, but she's getting better...
