Your girly girl credentials are in order.

Now, pretty please find one of these for the Zen Coilmaster.

Hmmmmm...Renoir? Gillette. Are the

taking over?

Not that anyone should care, but the adopted cat does indeed have three—count em!—functional legs, an enormous number of toes, a sweet disposition, and an aptitude for languages. Being addressed in British English, Murkin, and português brasileiro didn't phase it a bit. It's hiding under my chest of drawers. Her name was/is Kotori or Katori or Kotari.

It would be a dream come true to acquire a razor like that!

Congratulations on the new member of your family!
Cats are known for being multi-lingual...they give stink-eye in several tongues. :)

And...just so I keep you updated...the old fan is down! Getting ready to put the new one up in a second. Boy is it hot up there!!

I was wondering how your fan was coming! Sounds like time for a vape break.:):vapor:

But....it has some kind of funky bulb with it that has a tiny end on it..:( so the LED bulb I purchased won't work unless I change the thing it screws into. :(
Lynn, Mistress Master Lectrician, they sell socket converters that make standard sockets accept the minis, but I haven't seen one that does the opposite. I'll hunt around. Worst outcome? Use one of those fancy designer bulbs with the small base.

I would verify the socket type in your new fixture...but I think these will work. Check Lowes or Home Depot or a good neighborhood hardware store.

Gran, I don't think they will work...I don't think the globe would fit over the adapter with a bulb. I was told that they make cfl's and led's with candelabra ends so I'll go to Lowes tomorrow and see. I always like having extra bulbs around for just in case.

Of course, now thinking about it, I'd rather have the LED bulb than the globe anyway. My kitchen is dark at night and the bare bulb, although it doesn't look very nice would throw out more light. Thanks again Gran!! What would I do without you guys???? :)

And...it works!!! Perfectly!! All done and running!
That's a standard socket in the light fixture, right? If so, you can just put another CFL (compact fluorescent) in. If the shade isn't deep enough for the new one, they make them in all different sizes now. I have some 100 watt ones that are just as small as the 60's. I'm just looking at the old bulb you had in the older fixture and it looks to be very large.

Just guessing here Lynn, but the globe bases are pretty standard, usually with three or four screws in the metal fixture to hold them in place. You can easily get a larger globe at a hardware store or junque/antique shop or a Goodwill or Sally Army.

I knew you could do it! You should be proud of yourself, not anyone can do what you did.
