Are ya'll trying to sweet talk me? Yeah? :?: Well, it worked! :) I'll take one to work tomorrow and use the caliper and the 0-25mm mic on it.
Try not to set off any of the chinese musical alarms while sneaking to do that.

Thank you everyone for your condolences. I have put a new tank in my firstie's place but it will never have the same place in my heart. Your first is always the most special. :D
Seriously, though, that little tank put up quite the fight. I don't know how many times I had dropped that sucker and NUTHIN! One hard smack on a very hard tile floor was the last straw, I suppose. Those things are solid, for sure!

I'm usually so clumsy *knock on wood*, but I've only dropped one thing since I've started this vaping adventure. One of my airs that had an acrylic drip tip in it, on the linoleum in my kitchen. The drip trip broke off but the tank was fine. I still miss that little drip tip. My favorite color, just like Lynn's current eye.:)

Mine always seem to land on very hard surfaces, like the hard wood in my house or the hard tiles in bathrooms. Yeah... I do a lot of vaping in the bathroom.:blush:

I thinks they make hospital floors a lot harder because they don't want anyone sneaking in there to vape.

I just drove 20 miles in a torrential downpour, dashed inside, changed my clothes, went to get a glass of water and now the sun is shining.
I just sat out back in the bright sun with a large glass of iced coffee and a good murder mystery for half an hour, pulled weeds for an hour, ambled inside, showered, put on dry clothes, and now the sun is shining. Unlike you, I have no power to change the weather.

Last report you gave us was pretty grim.:(
I'm sorry. I guess my post was misleading. My mom has actually improved considerably. She was moved out of ICU a few days ago and when I got there yesterday, she was sitting in a chair, talking and smiling. It was a great thing to see. She is, however, still in a good bit of discomfort and pain and she's got a long road ahead of her. When they release her from the hospital, she will have to spend at least a month in rehab.

I understand completely. Your post wasn't misleading, we just hadn't had an update from you about her and I am glad to hear she is on the road to recovery, even if it is a long and windy one.

Ooh...I love a good murder mystery. Whatcha reading? I'm all out of authors right now please ignore the paper grocery bag overflowing with books in my back seat! 12 of those are one entire sci-fi/fantasy series. Those are for winter.
Charles Todd: The Red Door. Hope the grocery bag is full of Terry Pratchett.
This is my first Todd. Been reading lots of Henning Mankell, but that's for gloomy days.

Really?? Pfft. If only. That would have been the gold mine and it would have taken several paper bags, but I would have done it. But thanks for the recs. Only mysteries I got were Euro authors, award-winning, but I've never heard of them and might be one shot, as far as translations are concerned. I wish I knew who it was at the church who was donating them (I get a couple every year), because they could just give them to me to read first and then I'd donate them to the sale:)

Thanks! I know I've seen Mankell at the library. Those Scandinavians are always so dark. I read all of Karin Fossum's books two summers ago.

If you want any of the Pratchetts, let me know. We've got all of them. Mankell's are easy to come by; I got six or seven from the library book shop, read them, and re-donated, but we have lots more. As IMRs says, "Conversate me." Also, grab anything by Wm. Tapply, especially the three Stoney Calhoun mysteries. Not just good mysteries, by high quality writing.
