So, I finally received a vape mail package I've been waiting on for a week. A week for 2 day priority shipping... the vendor got it out the same day I ordered and I received it on day 8. Love that high quality USPS punctuality...
I never pay for the priority shipping anymore for this reason. The "free" or cheaper is the way to go because the USPS doesn't abide by any priority shipping, they just get it to you when they feel like it .

I actually didn't pay extra. I've been a Totally Wicked customer for ages and have a standing 7% stackable discount that includes free 2 day priority mail. That said, this is the first time I've had issues with shipping from their warehouse... they're literally about 400 miles from me, on the same coast. Not their fault, though.

My Cat is more of a Calculating Schemer. And has a High Level of Defiance when she is Caught in the Act. As can be seen in this photo Immediately after a Lamp was Discovered laying on it's Side.

Other than my current problem with GV (I have no way of knowing it was usps fault), I've only had one other package take more than 2 or 3 days in the last 29 months using priority. With all the stories, I guess I've been very fortunate.
I just ordered from GV and I got it lightning fast. :2c:

Hello Lv. I also got a package from them the other day (2 more M's) very quick. I blame the PO service for downsizing for many people's problems with the shipping. :)

The USPS is more concerned with figuring out the logistics of developing logistics than they are in figuring out the logistics of delivering mail on time.

I haven't Bought or Followed GV for quite awhile.

But what I saw when I did was that (like Most Retailers) they ship Quickly and that Most People are Happy with the Delivery Time.

But...

When there Is a problem with a Package, then it Seemed like GV Didn't handle it well. And that People had to Go Back and Forth with them. And that Many Days would pass before Something/Anything was Done.

Just my 2c

Hey IMRs. I have only had one problem with USPS delivery, so I guess those are really not bad odds, especially considering all the online ordering I do.

Well, they're going broke, which is odd since this IS the age of online ordering.

I think you'd like the 40W TC... it's an inexpensive, dead simple temp control mod. Really, I haven't seen another TC mod operate in such a user friendly way. The wattage is limited to the 40 watt max (which incidentally can't be lowered in temp mode), but that's more than enough. The only drawback as of yet is the battery capacity. At 40 watts, even in TC mode, the 2600 mah battery lasts me about half to two thirds of a day. I get it though... the device was designed with a small form factor in mind.

Thanx Cloud for your thoughts.

I was very close to scoring a TC40W...but then I ran across the iPV D2.

They're very close in size and somewhat close in price.

The TC40W has a 2600mAh built-in battery while the iPV D2 uses a replaceable 18650.

Just (today) ran across an iPV D2 thread...so I've got some reading to do...
