Hi!

I am quite a new to vaping I stopped regular smoking not so while ago (didn't smoke much).I would like to hear your opinion on this.

I bought Ijust 2 because it looked simple. I bought already-made e-juice with zero nic just for test - nice flavour all great. Then I decided to buy a base and flavouring to mix (imperia 3mg nic + imperia vannila flavour). I properly primed it. Firstly, coil like 7 drops and then I filled the tank and waited 15 minutes. The smoke was unbearable and very hot, impossible to inhale. My tongue was tingling from it tasted peppery and burnt. Maybe it was the nic - but it's just 3mg. Maybe it was spilling hot liquid into my mouth but then what should I do about it? I'm using that standard 0.3 EC coil. I tried to change the coil too but it's still the same. Tried different base still same. Different flavour still stame. I can try something without nicotine but I'm getting quite annoyed by this if you got me :D. When pressing the start button it's making loud crackling sound and vape is coming out. Any help will be greatly appreciated :) Thanks!

Usually the loud popping sound is flooding, maybe your over priming coil? I wouldn't do as much , maybe just a couple drops. Waiting 15 minutes is good and if you only use a couple drops, as your waiting the 15 minutes, you can take a few dry pulls, which will bring in some juice to coil. Not much of a diy, but if you don't mix really good, you can be tasting the nic for sure. You really need to shake the heck out of it. Also a flooded atomizer can taste hot, so once you eliminate the flooding, it shouldn't be soo bad. If it still is too hot, either lower the wattage or , if they offer, get a higher resistance coil. A .3 coil is pretty low and will be a little warm. Also the lower the resistance, the more open the airflow needs to be. If you have the airflow too tight, that low resistance coil will be even hotter. Another reason you could be flooding the coil is over filling the tank, you really want to keep about a 10 % air gap. Make sure everything is tight and all oring are good. Also on some tanks, you need to fill it properly unless it can flood, some requires the airflow to be closed when filling and then open after. Unfortunately I don't really know that set up but maybe look at a few videos on filling technics. Good luck

What is your recipe (percentages)? Somethings not adding up, if it vaped just before. Also, did you try the .5 coil as well?
Good point, I didn't catch that. Like you noticed, once the nic & flavorings were added, that's when the problem started. Like as if way too much nic was added. Or maybe it still could be flooding because the new mix is soo thinned out?

Yep, that's what I was thinking.
To the OP: also, what is the pg/vg of your base?

I used an iJust 2 kit for a little bit, and I would randomly get those dry, burnt, nasty hits. I used both the .3 and .5 ohm coils. I could not figure out what the problem was. It would work fine some times and other times it didn't. Some times it would be on the first pull. Some times it wouldn't. I don't know what it was because the burnt taste didn't linger like it would if the cotton had been singed. I gave up on it pretty quickly. That was when I first started vaping, so I wanted something simple I could rely on. When I didn't get that burnt taste, it was a really nice vape.

I never had that issue, but then again, I wound up using the tank on other devices. So I don't think it's the coils or tank, that's the problem.

Thanks for replies:) I didn't use 0.5 coil yet I can try that. I'm using 50/50 vgpg base with 3mg of nic + 3% and more of flavouring (which is on wrap). I'm sure it's not overfilled. On Ijust 2 i can't set my wattage (that kit is without mod). The second thing I can tell is that my mixed e-juice has tiny little bubbles even after shaking it like a 10 minutes or so and it's not so thick. I even tried flavour-art but exact same problem. So yeah either it is the nic or flooding. It vaped good on already-mixed ejuice I bought somewhere on eshop (which was without nic btw), but then I tried to buy base+flavour and mix it and it just doesn't work. The smoke is really peppery and it's tingling on my tongue. The last things i have on my mind is to try again already-mixed juice or to buy 0 nic base and add nicotine flavouring? I'm almost out of ideas :D Thanks guys:)

Hey guys update!

Quite a surprise for me. After letting it sit for 2 days and if I let it fire for like 2-3 seconds the smoke is MUCH more bearable, so I thinks it's badly flooding? The only downside now is that its maybe little bit hot that smoke. Otherwise it's no longer scratching and I don't feel that tingling on my tongue and no need for coughing. Some ideas for improvement? But anyway thank you very much :)
