Eleaf iStick 20w problems...

I've had the older 20w istick since around halloween and its been wonderful. i bought it with a kanger aerotank mini (which i highly recommend as a setup for newer vapers) and it was great. i recently bought a kanger subtank nano due to some connection problems with my aerotank. the atomizer was reading at different resistances almost every puff, tested it and found it was indeed the tank and my battery worked fine reading it on other tanks. but now whenever i tighten the OCC coil head atomizer for the subtanks and then fully screw on the tank as tight as it will go, the atomizer will read 0.0 and firing the button reads "atomizer short". i have to twist the tank loose a little bit to get it to work. does anyone know why its doing this? and maybe a solution besides buying a new battery?

thanks
