Eleaf iStick 40W TC, porcelain finish...simply dies

My wife owns this nice little mod. I bought it for her only approximately 5 months ago and it literally without showing any symptoms simply doesn't work any longer?!?!?

USB charging evokes no response, 5 power button clicks...nada?!

I am wondering if perhaps the fixed battery could have a connection issue? A bead of soldiering to reattached a potentially loose wire is preferable to my wife getting a new "take in the car mod!"

I believe there is a disassembly video or picts for the istick 20 somewheres. Almost same thing?? Seems like it just slides out after screw removal.

If it's been left in a warm/hot car on occasion it may be a contributing factor for it's short lifespan.
Probly luck o the draw.
Good thing they're relatively inexpensive.
