Eleaf istick connector poll

How is your istick connector?

  • The connector on my istick is fine and works as it should.

  • The threads on my istick were faulty out of the box.

  • The threads on my istick have become sloppy with use.

  • My topper won't fire if it is screwed on snugly, it has to be loose to fire.

  • I don't even have an istick, I just like polls.

At $34.99 you can't go wrong can you? Received mine last Monday and so far so good. I use the supplied connector with a pro tank mini 3. It rocks out and tastes great!
I would consider it "gone wrong" if mine came with faulty threads out of the box. The appeal was the size. I wouldn't want to have to add an adapter to it.

Both of my 'sticks were slightly sloppy when new and noticed they were getting a little sloppier in a very short time, so I topped them off with mini nauts. and have since been refilling without taking the minis' base off.
I secure the base with my thumb and forefinger while upside down and just unscrew the tank only. Soooooo.....I voted.....The threads on my istick have become sloppy with use...... They are certainly not quality threads and need to be addressed by eleaf. I've been using them exclusively since 9/25 with no other issues.(fingers crossed) :)

Ego connector with a thread cover using an Aspire mini vivi. Doesn't add but what, 1/2" mebbe?
Tolerable when avoiding possible thread problems and I think it looks good (-:

Is there a why to recenter it?
I doubt it. I would think that would indicate a thin insulator, which has always been the weakest link in a connector. It may have to do with the shape of the center pin on the topper. We are trying to mate so many different connectors, most of which are being manufactured at the least expense. I would try other toppers and see what works. If it works, stick with it.

Got 4 now and they all have slightly sloppy threads. My first 2 haven't changed my mini orchid and rda screw down the same and make good contact after 3 weeks. The new ones feel the same as my old ones. I don't try to crank anything down on it either I saw a guy at the B&M earlier putting some torque on a kayfun on his

I didn't vote in the poll because my iStick has two of the symptoms, but only one can be selected.

The upper threads of my iStick have become sloppy, despite consistent care in attaching and removing tanks. Also, though I've tried to refrain from over-tightening, tanks won't fire anymore when screwed on firmly. (The iStick reads them as either zero or Low Resistance.) The tanks aren't exactly "loose," but I have to stop as soon as the threads catch and the iStick display reads the correct resistance.

I've been using a 510-to-eGo adapter full time for awhile now and have a Kanger air flow control valve on the way, but there's no telling how long the female 510 connector on my iStick will last before more drastic measures become necessary.

None of the above apply to me. The center pin is pushed down over time, and needs to be popped up with a screwdriver and all is well again for a while.

Screwing it on loosely would not make a connection at all, but since that choice is the closest, I guess I will select that.

I don't even both with the 510 threading. I know people are all into the smallest possible mod, but having the ego adapter on there really doesn't add that much height, and protects it from the wear and tear.

If you only use one tank primarily on the iStick, you probably won't run into many problems as long as you're gentle when putting on tanks.

nope ;) i got 3 isticks in - 2 went to friends and accepted a vivi nova right out of the box. 1 showed 'no atomizer' and needed adjustment of the center pin. i kept that one but there's no guarantee that the other 2 will behave nicely with a different topper.
threads also could be improved - there's a world of difference between the istick 510 and a fd classic 510 or provari..

can't do the poll since the 'no atomizer' problem and having to raise the center pin is not an option ;)

That 1/2 inch means a lot to me. I want small.

That's what she said.

3 isticks, the first is about 6 weeks old, no problems here.

I keep the same tank on each one as much as possible, but it does come off for filling.

Mine's about 5 weeks old and I've had the center pin issue for a couple of weeks now. I used to swap between 3-4 tanks but now only use 1 or 2.

Only issue I've had is having to pry up the center pin when before I attach certain atomizers. Really is a pain. I like the idea of the new bend adapter but those who've purchased iSticks shouldn't have to pay for this item, they should be free with proof of purchase/receipt. This fixes a problem and does not add new features. Call it a recall fix.
