Thanks for the info. I wanted to get a white Pico during the Fourth sales and figured this was about as good a deal as I would get. Ordered. Just under $28 shipped.

You will enjoy it. It's really is a great little mod! I liked it so much, I purchased 3 more .

If speedy shipping is important- don't buy from ANY Chinese vendor. The Pico is supposed to ship on 7-1, but that is not written in stone- just like FT and etc. their shipping dates do tend to waver.

The other side of that is I just bought a SXK Nebula Zero Mini from gearbest- received it 14 days after paying. The order before that took 18 days total. The longest wait from GB was 31 days for a SXK Nebula Wine atty, this was over New Years. The average has been about three weeks-which is the same as fasttech. All my orders from these places use no expedited shipping options.

Seeing pbusardo rate the Pico so highly makes me want to get a spare. Kinda pointless though since I already bought the VTC mini as a spare. For $20 shipped from gearbest though, it's pretty darn tempting!

I trust fasttech more than gearbest, July the 4th you can get the pico from fasttech for $22.50, I am going to get 2 more for backups at that price :)

Ha! Yes I do. I'll be getting at least two more. Holding out for more colors first. LOVE the White though, maybe I'll get two more. :)

If you like tiny mods like I do, pickup a couple of Target Mini's. PBusardo gave it high marks in TC operation. Only 40 watts, internal battery, but with a Cubis Pro tank on top, this is a TRUE, "pocket" carry. Even has two TCR inputs, it's like a pico PICO! Mod only, $30.

so a little update. I had noticed a bit of pulsing in the vape using SS TC mode.....not horrible, but something some people dislike....well, I decided to try out Ti mode.....the vape is MUCH smoother in Ti....I am even using it in a KF V4...notoriously bad for TC, and it is working great.

I have had no probs from any of the Chinese vendors, including FT and gearbest. Just a friendly heads-up: anyone choosing to order from FT needs to research their cs failings of late. There are a LOT of unhappy regulars who are buying elsewhere until things straighten out. It seems that while GB has been improving, the opposite is true of FT.

Same here, it's just the low TCR of most SS wire, I want to find various grades of the higher TCR 403 SS. But since PBUSARDO finally reviewed and put the Pico on a scope, and showed its doing TC right, it's confirmed what we have both seen, it's the wire, not the mod. I vape on Titanium wire 90% of the time, only got into SS because so many prebuilt coils use it.

It seems like if a mod is gonna have trouble w/TC, it's going to be the most pronounced when using stainless steel. I believe the lesser change in resistance when heated requires things to be spot on, any abnormal behavior by any component involved w/TC- that might be less a problem with Ti or Ni- may causes probs w/SS.

Fortunately all my Joyetech mods work in TC w/SS, Ni200 and Ti. Not so fortunate that my smok treebox is a fail in TC w/both SS and Ti. If not for it doing okay using Ni200 it would be a total fail for TC. Oh, but it LOOKS good...
