Just realized: did you try 4 clicking the fire button then turn the wattage down from max to low to mid 40s?

should have thought of that a minute ago, bit out of it from the heat and exercise. first time you put pico into temp mode wattage is maxed at 75
I didn't try that. But I bet I do now.

Yeah, I was getting ready to suggest that as well! I even turn mine down around 30w to start with, most times that's plenty to my needs.

Yes, new .25 notch coils (rated 30 - 60 or 70 iirc) I do the first few warm up hits lower than that 42.5 I mentioned, more like 30 then bring it up. With my .5 ohm BF coils (rated 15 - 30) in the cubis I start around 15 or 20 then work it up to 25 once I know it's fully primed and saturated. All that will change once my goodies start showing up in the mail box and I learn how to build on all my new RTA's.

excellent, I didn't even know it was possible at first and smoked a coil's cotton in my cubis then downloaded the pdf manual after seeing someone else in another thread mention adjusting wattage on their mod as well as temp.

This isn't SMOK... this is Sparta JoyeTech.

:D We get to choose our TC wattage. :D

It's the exact same interface as their RX, and I do mean exact.
IMO... the best of the bunch. :)

Yes, glad to hear since I have 2 x rx200s showing up tomorrow.

I came back to edit my post... too late. :p

It occurred to me that I haven't put the update on my Pico... they're different now.

I went through all the updates on my early VTC... not always happily, and just got annoyed that they changed the display layout (for the worse IMO) on the Pico and passed on it so far.

But the controls should still be the same.

I dunno, I just dunno, seems almost to defeat the purpose, but at the same time.....
http://www.heavengifts.com/Eleaf-iStick-Pico-Mega-TC-100W-MOD.html

Had to look to see it's not a dual cell Pico but rather an 18xxx/26xxx version.
I don't care for the specs, it smacks of inflated battery ratings.

You need a bang-up 30A 18650 to run 90W safely... and they're not what's commonly owned.
Even worse... so far, most 26650s fall short of even 20A 18650 CDR performance.
But this isn't even the first "100W" 26650 mod, I wish they wouldn't do this.

First look and all that... but I'm not confident, or impressed.

Spare standard black and silver pico's showed up today from vapeshop. Brushed and black out still waiting to ship from GB and my white one I bought on sale should be shipping from FT before too long now that I verified my identity (first card got refused for international purchase so I promptly used the other card and they wanted to make sure I wasn't making a fraudulent purchase) with them.

Lots of info about the melo 3 in general here - Eleaf Melo 3 Tank flavorful or not?

Looks to be not a very flavorful tank from skimming the first page of that thread.

I have all 3 of the Melo versions and, IMO, the Melo 2 has the best taste for me, not to mention that awesome side fill.

the hole for 26650 is much bigger (& heavier)
sorta strips the nifty lil guy title away...

73x53x31mm - 100w
vs
70x45x23mm - 75w

I've been in the market for a larger mod to fit wider tanks and the new 100W is perfect for me. In da cart, as they say. :hubba:

sounds like the new bigger Pico would work for you... :thumb:

might I also bring to your attention the Presa 100w (very cool) 93x46x30mm

- Wismec Presa TC100W 18650/26650 Mod

Haha, I was looking at the Presa, but was held up in ordering one due to my lack of knowledge of 26650 batteries! Then, this 100W shows up... I'm biased when it comes to Picos anyway (I love them so much, I have 4: pink, white, all black, and brushed silver), so I'm a bit torn. The Pico Mega may end up winning, as it's shorter than the Presa.

yepper, I think the `lil Pico is a very nice device, it just to small to fit my hand the way I'd like... :(

now the Presa (75 & 100 w) no matter how ya grab it, it just comes up vapin'...
