It's not just a 0.3... those two suck up a ridiculous level of wattage.
I'd have to see inside or read about the gauge, but they're both fat dual parallels.

I've had the 0.3 past 60 and it was still chuggin' along.
I haven't used the 0.5 but its' 100w rating is actually legit... though quite warm.

I'm sure I eased it up when I had mine in but even just going for it, if the wick was saturated... 40w is too low to have gotten the coil toasty.

With any direct lung tank, the power will vary a lot depending on how much air you pull through. But it takes 30W to even get the Melo going. Tastes weird to me too, so little flavor, so much heat. I only got the kit, other than because few are selling just the mod itself, because it seemed a way to check out TC, and it doesn't even come with a TC coil! Misleading. I think I'm going to drain the tank and put it away for the future or to sell it (same thing). Totally. Don't. Get. It.

As to the Pico, not crazy about how it feels in the hand, but like the low center of gravity that doesn't knock over easily, and it works great so far. Currently using it with a little 30 ga. Ni200 coil (.1 ohm!) in my Derringer, 25W limit 450 degrees.

As to LG HG2 batteries, technically they shouldn't be used with the Pico because they're not 25A continuous. The specs wars has resulted in a very limited choice of correct cells, not impressed with that. Keeping to lower power should allow use of a HG2 cell, but the internal current limit protection is still set for ~25A. I'm using one myself because I can't see how anything but malfunction would cause a problem with my normal use, and then all bets are off anyway. Note I still wouldn't recommend at all using a 10-15A cell even if you never go above 5W, the HG2 is at least close to the desired spec and handles 25A pulse.

I personally love my Pico! The kit comes with the 75 watt mod using a single 18650 but also has USB port with passthrough ability. It also comes with Eleaf milo 3 mini tank which is a nice top fill.

The oled screen is simple, 3 clicks brings you to menu. It's a fantastic VW/TC mod that isn't much larger than a mini volt. I do like the tank it comes with, however...I rock my badass Super Tank Mini on it.

Battery life is superb and you'll be amazed at the vapor production this little pimp mod chucks!

I advise fervently ordering the Pico kit and I promise you won't be disappointed!

its a great mod for its price: around $30 shipped.

Smallest regulated box mod on the market that takes a single 18650. ONLY 2 cons for me.

    1. For some reason the wattage setting trickles down when the mod is idle by about 0.1W increments.

    2. its not going to fit any atty with a diameter larger than 23mm, even some of my 22mm and 23mm's do not fit due to protruding AFC/JFC etc.

Other than that its a very solid device.

All this. I do notice that the power drops 1/10w occasionally. I could lock it, but I don't. I'm guessing I'm tapping the button?

Still on page 1 so not sure if answered yet but if you upgrade the firmware it should solve this, at least it did for me. It would go down when changing a battery and/or switching/refilling tanks until I upgraded firmware. The new wattage mode display is nicer too if you use that mode.

I did do that, and have since not noticed the wattage drop. Thanks kindly for reply/affirmation!
