i got it last night, and used it last night, then this morning, tried charging it at work for the first time because it did arrive full charged, battery level is showing a bit above half charge

I ran mine dead and recharged it and it seems to be fine now. Kind of a reboot I guess.

Invited a few vaping friends over tonight, all but one using iSticks. The garage turned quite cloudy at times :vapor:

Counted 1 nautilus, 1 Silo, and 2 Naughty minis, all running BVCs. Not enough of a sample size to be statistically significant, but a good indicator of the preferred setups.

BTW, beer and vaping, not sure they get along. After a few sips of Guiness, I can't taste any flavor... The nicotine hit is there, just can't tell the flavor, even with a dripper...

Did they happen to explain their relationship with Uvape? It seemed that they were the same but operating a little different.

Not a clue, the email was short and sweet. They just stated that they wanted people to visit their web site instead of their ebay store. I have no idea who they are affiliated with.

I think the current crop of tanks is fixing to change. With the release of the DNA 40, We are going to see a redesign of tanks to utilize the Nickel so the temp control can be utilized. I see that Aspire is doing a re-design with the Atlantic Tank and Kanger has already released information on there combo that can be rebuild or use a new coil design.

So it is going to get interesting real quick. I wonder what the setup of choice will be in late Jan

Found some really good pics of the guts. This may have been posted while I was on vacation....

Thanks for the pics. .Replacing the batt. looks doable. Pretty clever how it was designed to fit all that stuff in such a small package! I also like how heavy duty the one piece case is. To bad they skimped on the 510 connector.

Yep, it's a really nice design, and it does look like there is clearance above the battery to fit something to attach a lanyard to, but I'm not taking mine apart until it fails.

Are any of you running two coils on the orchidv2 on the istick? Is it strong enough to handle it?

I figured, the guys at my local bandm told me it won't handle it?

If your build stays above 1.0 ohms it will work fine. I don't have an Orchid (yet) but my Genny tanks work very well with a 1.2Ω coil setup at about 15 watts.....:vapor:

One quick thing. I have noticed that my battery is dying faster after a couple weeks with it.

Since I got my second one, I forgot that you even have to charge them!
Seriously, I noticed increased batt life after a couple of days with my first one.
I think they need to be run dead and then charged, like oplholik said.
Might need to do that periodically.
