Eleaf Melo 5 tank - cleaning

I love this tank but for the life of me I cannot get it apart to clean it. I've tried soaking it in hot water, putting it in the freezer, using a rubber gripper thing to hold the tank while turning the top or bottom...I can't get the glass tank off. Help!

Thanks. The base does unscrew from the top but the glass part of the tank stays attached and the juice stays inside because of the little openings that close when you remove the base. The problem is that I can't get the glass part of the tank off.

You could try using what folks call a Spudger, it's basically a plastic tool used for seperating things.

It may well work, but it sounds as though the glass has bound to the seal. So when you get it apart it may well tear, and the seal will need replacing then.

try Boiling hot water to maybe soften the o-rings and try to pry loose???

Penetrating oil or Diesel is an option as well, but thats getting medieval.

You should be able to just pull the glass from the top portion of the vape

Lemon juice solution should also soften the o-rings
