When I started vaping my first juice vendor was Unsmoke.us. He mixes to order both PG/VG, nic and will add extra flavor, comes in multiple sizes and is IMHO reasonably priced.

Then I decided to branch out some and nothing seemed to work out even at higher prices. Standard mixes, no variations, perfume smell, no flavor, blech. I tried many different vendors. Thankfully during that exercise I only bought sample packs.

I decided to try DIY and I'm still learning but the curve is much flatter than it was at the start. I make some good juices these days, not many 'failed experiments'. Takes awhile, involves copious note taking, but I kinda enjoy playing lab rat.

The few things I don't make myself now via DIY I still buy from him, in 120ml bottles. The taste is good, it doesn't break down and he mixes it to order doesn't pull it off the shelf. His Blueberry Muffin is to die for. I have never lost my taste for that one, but I switch flavors during the day and don't vape any one thing all day long.

As always, we all taste the same things differently so YMMV ;)

Another thing, don't be afraid to try menthol if you didn't like menthol cigarettes, I hated menthol cigarettes, but I find my favorite e liquids are the ones that have menthol in them, or that I have added menthol drops to them.

+1 for this! My husband just started vaping (he's analog free day #4!!!!). He HATED the very mention of menthol cigarettes & now he's vaping a VERY strong (IMHO) menthol exclusively - craziest thing I ever saw

I was a menthol smoker, but I'm really interested in the fruity juice flavors right now. I find that just a touch of menthol really livens up the fruit flavors for me.

My personal take on juice: I've had one really terrible one (it was the worst thing I've ever tasted…and it took forever to get that taste out of the atomizer I used) and the rest are between mediocre and decent. I'm convinced that you should surround every juice name or description with "cheap" and "candy" to get an idea of what they'll taste like.

Maybe I just haven't had a good enough one yet. Even my current favorite (Vapor Alley Key Lime) tastes more like the flavoring added to frozen key lime pies from Kroger than actual key limes……but that's good enough for me to enjoy it and stay off cigarettes……and order it like 50ml at a time.
