eliquid Pipe Tobacco

Hi, I found this forum by accident searching for Virginia eliquid.
I have been a pipe smoker for 44 years smoking various tobaccos, my favourite being AMPHORA BROWN ORIGINAL & Ogden’s GOLD BLOCK.
I saw a chap smoking an ePipe & he suggested I should try it so I purchased an E601 and a ‘mini-pipe’.
I could not get on at all with the strong ‘woody’ taste and aftertaste of the ‘Premium Tobacco’ cartridges that came with the pipes.
I read the posts by Zaxx, Harry Crazington, ~kerri, MIKEOUK & smokingcalm, which were very helpful.
I immediately ordered the Virginia eliquid from TW and found it much better than the premium tobacco flavour.
However it still is a long way from the taste of real tobacco.
Being completely new to this ‘vaping’ game, & with so many flavours to choose from, I am a little lost.
Can any of you experts out there tell me if it is possible to get near a real tobacco taste, preferably pipe tobacco?

No because vaping isn't burning anything. When you smoke, you're burning the tobacco leaves and any additives that are put on them. With vaping, your vaporizing pg/vg/food flavorings or tobacco extract. There's no burning involved. Even with the tobacco extract, it's not burning. It's like taking a tobacco leaf and squeezing the natural flavor out of it and putting it into your epipe. The natural flavor won't taste the same because it's not being burnt/smoked. I hope that all makes sense to you. Everyone who comes on here wants something that closely resembles what they smoked. I really don't know of anyone that can say "Hey, I used to smoke that!" Some flavors will come close but not spot on in terms of taste.

have you tried ecblend? they have some rich flavors that remind me of the pipe tobacco my dad smokes - i'm vaping "chocolate hazelnut tobacco" right now and am loving it!!! the "sweet and mild", "runyun 4" and "chocolate vanilla 555" is nice also

Thanks guys, all makes sense.
I will continue to invest to get nearer the taste I want.
The 555 looks interesting.
I got some help from the TW team who have recommended the Black Label Aromatic and Rich Pipe, but you have to mix the ingredients yourself.
Have ordered same, arriving tomorrow. I will let you know how I get on.

Received the Totally Wicked mixing pack with the Black Label flavours Aromatic & Rich Pipe.
Having spent so far £186, $327, I was getting worried I was wasting my money.
I squeezed the unpalatable liquids from the cartridges that came with the ePipes, washed them out & dried them.
I mixed the Totally Wicked flavours in the lowest strength (8mg), both Black Label Aromatic & Rich Pipe.
I am over the moon with the result; both taste excellent and are an acceptable replacement for my pipe tobacco.
As I depend on the cartridge configuration of the ePipe 601 and the ePuffer mini pipe, any of you guys out there know where I can buy blank cartridges? If not, as the cartridges are simple plastic shells, anyone know what the absorbent material is in the shells.

Hi TJJ and welcome to ECF. I only vape Tobacco because of allergies and my favorites are: DKTab, RY4, 555 and TA. The closest I've found to a Tobacco taste is Tobacco Absolute- very potent.
