I have the Riva and I really love it. I only had one drunkin analog episode Friday nite. I had a 510 for a year and I loved it. My mom got very ill and passed away and went back to analogs. In june began usin my 510 again. All my stuff was a bit old so I came to the forum did so research and found the Riva. This is the one that didi it for me. The vapor is warm like an anlalog. I also have a ego usb battery. The button on the Riva is much more comfortable. I get 24 to 36 hours between battery charges. They have them on sale at e cig supply and alt smoke. Both places have coupon codes as well. I got mine at Vapor Junction, Travis is a supplier.

My understanding is that the Riva is basically an eGo-ish clone/type/model with slightly longer battery life (750 mAh vs 650 mAh) and a different button style. That being said, they seem to be a solid PV for the money. I use an eGo myself. I love the long battery life! NHaler sales the Riva as well. You might see how they compare to Eastmall's pricing on kits.

Any riva users out there? ;)
Does anyone have opinions/experiences they could share on it?

The 510 Riva is nice, especially now that it's reduced to $40.
I bought 3 for myself and a couple of friends just a few weeks ago at $60ea.

Fully charged batt should last you morning->evening at moderate vaping on a regular atty.

I would however recommend getting some LR atties to try as well. For me the difference was significant...
Much more vapor and better TH. BUT, in life there's a downside to all things good...
Batts will need to be charged more often and atties have a shorter lifespan.
I'll also admit so some loss in taste/flavor.

One thing I should mention regarding EM: if you're planning to order any e-liquid do NOT get any RY4 or 3&5(Kent?). I got some with my Riva and the taste is absolutely shocking. In fact I find most of the China/Dekang juices very uninspiring...

I also have some criticism towards EM's customer support but I'll leave that for another thread...

Cheers.

I have eGo, Riva and Hello 016 kits. If going for longest performance, I'd go Hello. If you want to use the cone and any atty, I'd go with the Riva. Both units have battery buttons with a much better feel than eGo's and longer performing batts.

With the Riva you get two batts which will basically give you the same amount of total time as the one Hello batt, however you can use one while the other is charging. My Hello charges in the same amount of time as the eGo and Riva.

I came home from out of town this afternoon and found my new Riva had been delivered yesterday. I literally ripped the box apart and put the Riva together...five minutes later I was vaping. I will write a review after I've used it for a couple of weeks but I will say that the first inhale was amazing...vapor galore and nice throat hit.

I actually bought two....pink for me and a black one for hubby. They are very elegant looking PV's. Although hubby is still looking at his like "WTH is this thing?" He's a newbie for sure.

Alright, now I'm ..........:D

I ordered mine a day before you did, paid extra for priority shipping, and haven't gotten it yet. grrr. Where did you order it from?

Edit: I see on the PM you sent me that we both ordered from ecigsupply. Hmmm. They are in Arizona, I'm in Colorado. Something's amiss that you would get this already while I'm sill checking the mail.

I'm really shocked you haven't gotten yours Bahnzo! Did you get a confirmation number? If so you should try to track it. You should email ecigsupply or even give them a call! Based on what I've read about their service this isn't normal!

(edited because I got the name of the vendor mixed up on my first try...blaming it on MONDAY!!)

The shipping conf they sent me (different from the order conf) didn't have a tracking number. I double checked it and made sure it had the right address, etc. I'll give them today, who knows what the weekends do to the mail sometimes, huh? But if it doesn't show today I'll have to start looking.

Also weird is the juices I ordered haven't arrived either...and those were from a supplier in the same state...I expected those first anyways. So maybe it's just the mail around here. (but dammit, they better show today!)

Edit: Turns out the juices I ordered, from Rocky Mountain Vapor, weren't sent from Colorado. The tracking # shows them coming from Detroit. Looks like they drop ship instead of have their own stock.

What's the battery life like? My m201 batteries lasted about 2 - 2.5 months. Now they produce little to no vape and die pretty quick.. How many months does a riva battery last?
From what I've read, probably around 6 months before they don't hold a charge that long, or at all.

I think these type of batteries life expectancy is based on how many charging cycles they go through. So if that's the case, a small battery that has to be charged 5+ times a day(like the m201) isn't gonna last as long as a battery that needs to be charged once a day or every other day(like the Riva).
