Embarassing....but funny.....

I was a pipe smoker and broke the habit with an epipe. The first couple of weeks I would often find my fingers reaching up to tamp the bowl when the vapor got low and once I did grab a lighter to try to get it started. Thankfully, with pipes there is no flicking of ashes so when driving, the epipe stays safely within the vehicle.

I roll the window down too. At first it was out of habit. Now that I've got my Chuck, I'm blowing out such gigantic clouds of vapor that I can't see the road until it dissipates.

I can't get over the window rolling down thing either and I always feel my pocket before I get my e-cig out to look for my lighter. I'm beginning to feel like such a ditz doing all of this.

We're using a passthrough at the house and the new ego with the big battery for going places, there is no confusion with the eGo it's so heavy but the little 510 passthroughs are confusing me all the time.

Every night I sat in my living room & smoked while watching TV or playing video games. Ashtray was always on a table to my right. I still find myself instinctively reaching for a cig thats not there.

I left a lighter and analogs on the table next to me the first few days of vaping. Was on the phone and forgot to push the manual button and picked up the lighter to try to light it before I caught myself. So right after that they were put in a cabinet and that is where they remain.

I almost lit my ecig too!
I've also flicked it a couple times too- just outta habit!

The big thing for me, especially at work, is my front pocket being empty.
Get the feeling I'm forgetting something whenever I'm leaving the house. Space was always occupied by a pack and a lighter.

Okay, so I'm driving down the road, vaping like usual when for some reason I hold my e-cig out the window like I'm going to flick ash off of it! Being so heavy I almost flipped it completely out the window! Thankfully I didn't, then I had to ask myself if I had, would I have stopped the car and gone after it! I have to say I would - these things are ALMOST as precious as my babies to me - LOL!!!

Wow! I used to smoke all the time in the car! I'm sure that will be second nature for me to want to hold the e-cig out of the window as soon as I start vaping. Thanks for the heads up. O_O

Luckily I don't have the habit of chucking my cigarette butts (I try to save the environment by keeping them in my pack and tossing them when I'm done) so I probably won't run into the issue of chucking my cig on street sidewalks. e.e

My thing was the ashtray. I kept it around even after I started vaping, and I would use it to drop things in....worn out filler or a toothpick or a cart wrapper, something. Not for smoking...but a catchall. I finally put it away a couple of days ago.....and find myself looking for it all the time. Ha. Sweet price to pay for this new lifestyle.

Been there, done that! Tried to flick my ash into a closed car window. Still do the pocket check for my pack too. I have a 510 auto usually when I am out and about, have to remember to take it out of my mouth before I go into a store. If it's not one thing, it's another! I don't care though, I'd rather live & vape than smoke & die slow.

Shortly after I started I got in the car one day and tried to light my e-cig with the car's cigarette lighter... melted the lens on a 510 before I figured out what was going on....

Every time I get in my car I keep rolling down the window. Even caught myself a few times blowing the vapor out the window like it was smoke lol. Haven't caught myself flicking it or attempting to light it yet though. Made sure to hide the lighter when I stopped analogs heh
