My handgun had been used heavily for the past year, and that's anodized. Nothing close to this much "holster wear". Granted it's a Kydex holster.

This is the most recent from PV. I'll keep everyone up to date once I have sent it out.

I would like to have you send it in along with the Flexi Sleeve so our production folks can take a look and get to the bottom of it.

I have attached a prepaid USPS label for the return along with an RMA form. Please fill out the RMA form electronically. Once complete, print out a copy and include it inside the package. Once it is shipped, email us back to advise and attach a copy of the RMA filled out. We need this for our records through your ticket/RMA as well.

Our return address can also be located on the form. Please also be sure to note your ticket# on the RMA form so that we can refer back to that if we have any questions.

We recommend using USPS priority mail with tracking for the return.

If the repairs being done are going to be outside of warranty service we will contact you by email and let you know how much the repairs will run before we perform any actions.

**Please make sure to securely package your items, preferably in a box with bubble wrap or packing peanuts. If your items are not securely packaged, they may be lost or damaged during shipping.**

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you!

And this happened how long after your purchased the firearm? 5 weeks? Just wondering.
Took my pistol almost 2 years to really show any wear from my holster..
And a Firearm is only blued... not what provape says is ceramic baked on coatings.

Depends on the firearm. Some are blued. Many use the exact same coating as the ProVari - CeraKote. Hell, the stuff was created specifically for the firearm industry. Other than that many are finished with DuraCoat & a few other types of finish. In the grand scheme of things, not many firearms are blued these days.

It also is going to depend on the holster. Horse leather is common in higher end holsters & isn't going to wear on the handgun as fast as cowhide. Same with nylon or Kydex.

Well, this is more like it. At least they are not just brushing you off.

I think my blue - green Mini is waiting to be signed for at the post office. Sadly, I had to pass on the love of my life in emerald green.

I guess it is, anyhow. Something requires a signature.

Any news?

BTW - There's a 2 month old beat up looking EG Provari in the classifieds now.

Not a real durable finish. I'm surprised they're still selling them.

I sent a PM to buy this green one. I was surprised at how bad the finish looks.

I have a green Mini already. I examined it closely last night. I can see little bubbles in a lot of places in the finish. I didn't notice them before. I also noticed that the finish is glossier at the top than it is in the middle. My extension cap is also glossier than the bottom of the Provari. I've only had this in a sleeve once. I can see how sliding the sleeve will pop those bubbles if it rubs over them. This mini will stay naked! ;)

I'm curious, when did you all start seeing the paint wear off on your provari? My black mini has a significant amount of silver showing in the "tear drop" section. It's around 4 months old, but I haven't dropped it, had keys rub against it or anything and yet just from being used (abrasion and friction with my palm I suppose) there is considerable fading in this section. Just not sure if this is normal or not. Thoughts?

P.S. Anxiously awaiting the P3
