Intresting. So your GPGG22 (4081) blanks are from a different manufacturer? The prefilled one I've been using are about 3.2Ω and I like them a lot. What else is different about the blanks? Do they still have the same internal design (coil rather than straight rigid wire)?

I like the idea of the lower resistance 510 cartos. Do you know who makes them? They are not Joye eGo, I presume? How do they work? Do you like them? 2.5Ω sounds perfect for the 510 batteries. Hmmm... Do I have to place another order?

Kayta,

Thanks for wondering.
The internal design is the tube with straight wire. Same as a KR8.
They are not made by joye.
I prefer them over KR8 and GPDD22 cartos.
I think the lower ohm is what helps it perform better.
The tip is soft and easily removable, but different than I have XP in 510 soft carto.

Please check your pm!

Thank you, you're too kind.:)

I need to get me that case for my Riva, anyway, so I'll be placing my order shortly. I've been looking for 510 cartomizers with a bit lower resistance than the 3.0Ω I've seen elsewhere. The eGo giant cartos are nice but such a mess to fill and refill... I'm not sure I want to deal with them for my daily use.

But the 2.5Ω 4081s, aren't they a bit too low for the 3.7v batteries? I've never tried a 4081 carto with such low resistance. But then, I could get an adapter and use them on my 510 batteries. Decisions, decisions...

Have you tried the GPDD22 cartos on the 4081 batts? Do they run too hot? I'm paranoid about burning my cartos. I'm really good at that. :D

Actually they are MR (medium resistance) or RL (reduced resistance)
LOL

I have not test them on 5v yet. I dont think I need that much.
But I wil have to give it a try to see if they hold up.
Cool!! Let me know. Believe it or not.... I don't have anything that produces 3.7v any longer!

They work well on my KR8 5v PT.
I will have to use it a few times and refill many times to see if they burn out faster.

I am playing around here, and the drip tis fit (not too snug) but
with my experiments, I wouldnt recommend dripping thru the tip with the cartos.
I learned the hard way. After dripping about 7 drops, I had a puddle in my hand. lol
Took a few tries to realize that the drip tip is channeling right to the center tube! duh!
Can still remove the DT and drip and replace.
5v creates a warm flavor with good TH.

edit: 5v is burning thru liquid bigtime. If you dont top off often you get some burning flavor

I thought that might be the case....Kind of negates the holding power of the carto! I guess I will stick with the Ego cartos at 5v.....I can get buy with a half a days worth of vaping on a re-fill!

Thanks Rob!

Rob,

Not clear on something, sorry. When you say the internal design is the tube with straight wire, are you referring to the 510's or the 4081's? The prefilled coffee 4081's had the vertical element, not the horizontal. I'm coveting the horizontal! :D

I ran the 2.5Ω 4081 blank on a 901 bat and it stayed a nice warm temp without getting hot. Produced clouds for me. Put a 808 bat on it and it was hot, hot, hot.

I vaped 7 ml through it and took a looksee and not a burn or scorch mark to be found...just a little flakey charring.

 when used on a 901.
