I just got this mod a few hours ago and the button rattle was driving me nuts. I decided to open it up to take a peek as to what was causing the rattle. The board was held in place by 2 small notches which causes the buttons to rattle loosely as well as the wattage buttons moving as u hit the power button. The fix I did was to wedge 2 rubber pieces onto the back of the board. Just enough so the buttons stick to the board but not enough to actuate the switches on the board. Been using it for about an hour now with no ill effects. Now this $40 mod feels like a $100 mod!
The rubber pieces I used was a plug that came with a kayfun bellcap that I ordered from fasttech. It was plugging the 510 hole on the bellcap. I just cut it to size and the sliced it in half to make 2 wedges. Almost a similar feel to a glue gun stick. Hope this helps!
