As a side note, I was able to try a Provari for about 6 hours Monday night. My friend Sgt.Taz drove up for a visit from Chicago and let me use his.

I'd have to say that generally speaking it's the best vape I've had as far as being consistent. I was running a 510t on it at 3.9v. And the consistency was better than anything I use normally. At home I use IMR 18650s with great success. But the provari, since I could dial in a consistent voltage was marginally better over the 6 hours.

Quite impressed. I made the right choice.

We knew this, as soon as you bought it!

So here is a shortish little mini commentary about my experience with my Provari since Friday:

After roughly 48 hours with it I am pleased. Hits consistently every time- which is a big deal for me (I hate battery fade). Sort of looking forward to seeing how long it takes to kill one 18490 battery. Considering I haven't been able to kill an unregulated 18650 battery before my "charge obsession" kicks in... I may not achieve this lofty goal.

The only thing that is a negative with the Provari- is it's weight. It's about the same weight as a KVS Triple V. Add the extender cap and the 18650 and the Provari is heavier than the Triple V.. No where near a deal killer but it is noticeable.

But every atomizer I have performs better on it when tested at the same voltage. This is due to it's voltage regulation. Being able to fine tune the voltage is really nice as well. For instance I run 510-T atties at 3.8 volts, but I run eGo-T atties at 4.1 volts. SmartVapes dripping atties run ok for me at 3.3 volts. My 3.2 ohm map tank rocks at 4.2 volts. I have one 3.0ML tank carto from KVS I haven't tested yet.

One thing is clear about the Provari: EVERY hit is the same, and when volted correctly for my tastes it gives me that freshly charged 18650 hit (consistently).

Is it worth the money? From my standpoint it is. And compared to the "state of vaping" last summer when I started- this is certainly a pleasure to vape.

Wonderful device.

I hope this isn't too fanboish, that's not my style. But this is an excellent device.

Cozz, ordered mine during the pre-order, got it by Christmas. First impressions. . .god, whatta club! Think it took me all of a day to get used to the size, & weight. I vape nothing but: DIY 50/50 or > % VG Cinnamon, w/C-E2 core in lottsa different tubes/tanks. Latest being a SS Torpedo Tank, w/Pyrex barrel. A couple different issues I've had w/ProVari: 1) Occasionally, and sometimes frequently, it seems to loose it's mind. Either won't fire, or L.E.D. flashes random error codes, or different display numbers. My solution: I just unscrew/re-screw the bottom cap, sorta a forced reboot. And, 2) Cinnamon attacks many plastics. My cinnamon appears to be attacking my ProVari L.E.D. display window. My solution: Ignore it. And try and keep juice off it. If it gets to the point that the window isn't keeping dust/crap out of the unit, or if I can't read the display, I guess I'll have to ship it back for fixin. I'm staying off a 52 year, 3 PAD tobacco habit. Haven't smoked tobacco for more than 6 months. Mostly due to my having ProVari. Workday's I'll go through 2 5mL tanks, weekends at least 3. I rarely lay this thing down. Means it will have to die affore I ship it back. I only use recommended AW batts. JMHO

Cheers,

Noted.

I haven't experienced any errors of any kind. But thanks for the reboot tip. I'll keep it in mind.

Ordered a black one with extended cap and 18650 batts last Sunday. It arrived yesterday. The only problem is that I am currently at a wedding in Colorado while my new baby is at home waiting for me. Having a great time in Boulder but I want to go home and try it out. I guess it will be a step up from the Ego-T I was using.

I also got a tank from big daddy vapor. Should I have gotten the liquinator? Ay other tanks that you vets reccomend?
