hey guys.. I just wonder why i’m not getting superb performance in my build? I’m using Vandy Vape Pulse BF, ijoy 20700 (5 legs), and a clone Entheon rda. But the performance is so unimpress me as I seen at the youtube is so great. I built 0.4ohm with fused clapton (don’t remember the size but kanthal, also have SS316L) is it the coil? Is there a specific coils for single coil rda like entheon or hadaly? Or anybody can share their build? I would be very much appreciated.

If you want it to perform better build down around a .20 ohm and use either all stainless or all N80 Nichrome, kanthal is great wire but it takes longer to ramp up and then longer to cool as well. This means the battery is working harder to try and get the coil to heat up. A .40 build on a mechanical device is going to be much cooler because you can't bump the wattage up to get the desired temp or vapor production as you could on a 100 watt box mod you have only 4.2 starting volts and as you vape the applied voltage decreases so it progressively gets cooler. Down load an ohms law calculator to your phone and use the voltage and resistance fields to find out your amperage and wattage so that you can stay safe and still get the quality of vape you are looking for. What 20700 battery are you using? The quality of the cell will also have an affect on the vape quality too.

Thanks. But is N80 is safe for mech mod? Since it doesn’t have TC mode. From my research, for single coil rda on mech mod we have to use a higher gauge of coils right? I’m using ijoy 20700 with 5 legs down at the top. Is that okay?

The Ijoy cells are fairly decent so you will be good there and yes N80 is OK to use with mechanical mods it' Ni-200 that you cannot use with a non-temp control device, you can use stainless on either temp, regulated, or unregulated device it is the universal wire so to speak.

As far as wire gauge if you are looking for a good build in a single coil and want to use fused Clapton build go with 24g N80/36gN80 5 wraps on 3mm and you should come out around a .18 to .21 coil depending on the length of the leads on the coil
Thanks. Do you have the links where I can get that clapton type?
