I am new to smoking e-cigs and started by buying an Envy starter kit from a local gas station for $36. I liked it so much that when the atomizer died after a month or so I bought a second kit as a backup while I warrantied the first one. Of course with the new one the atomizer died about a month and a half later as well, and my warrantied one died as well! On the plus side, envy did get me into vaping, which I had previously not known about.
After doing my research here it became clear that it's not at all unusual for atomizers to only last this long. However, replacement atomizers from Envy are costing $13! I found some old posts showing parts that can be used in a 2008 style Envy (they have the "envy" logo written on it) but I haven't seen any compatible parts for the new ones.
I'd like to get a little more life out of these envies before I move on, but at $13 a pop it doesn't make sense to do so when I could get 2 510's for around $35ish these days. Does anyone know any 2010 compatible atomizers I could order? (You can see the difference at the envycigs web site, the new ones are shorter). Thanks in advance to anyone that might know!
