And we've got more pink ivory coming along with black palm, purple heart, padauk, and Australian seed pod!

I'm enamored with the pitch on those burl eggs... yes. I. am.
That pitch is pretty difficult to achieve. I'm going to have to get a right angle bowl hollow chisel for any future shanks with this extreme angle. Making the groove for the cap cut line is nasty too. Not to mention actually cutting the cap.

What's the eta on having those Lucite stems on the site?
Hey Jason, Do I still owe you a lucite stem??? I've got a few laying around but truth be told Lucite may be a lost cause...
Out of every 4 that we bore and turn 1 ends up usable. The material is far to brittle and prone to melting when you rebore for the drip chamber. I have tried and wasted a couple hundred dollars on different methods but the results are always terrible.
We have other plans in store though... It's just going to take some time to work out the details.

I get that. I'm still enamored. My comment was supposed to be an "atta-boy"... :)

It's a secret!

Well, I had been waiting hoping that the Lucite stems would work out, but I was afraid the brittleness would cause a problem with those.

If you have a good, black lucite bent for me, I'll gladly take it though. I'm a biter and I was thinking the lucite stem might just hold up better. I'm gonna place an order tonight for a vulcanite stem. If you have a good black lucite stem lying around, I'd gladly take one of those instead. I just want to make sure they're a good, tight fit since I walk around with a pipe in my mouth most of the day as it is. I'm using those ego cartomizers and since they're a one-piece design, I don't have to worry about the pipe hitting the floor. But I would rather use the standard type B's as they have better flavor and a few drips goes a long way with them. So vulcanite, lucite... whatever you got handy that works well (and is black) will be fine. I'm just tired of having to fill these carto's with a syringe...
