The only ring I have as of now is the one that came with the protank. Can you get rings in other colors aside from chrome like black? I've never looked into it.

They do come in black. Scroll back a page or two and look at the pics I posted. I have a black flared cone. The black coating has come off around the rim, showing a thin brass line. I got it at my local B&M. Don't know where to find it online though.

BTW, nice avatar. Plumber, I'm assuming?

Gotta say I want impressed with Boromir at first but it looks great in your photos. Is there enough room to attach an RBA?

Boromir is an all timer, period. A stunningly awesome piece.

I can't wait to see that calabash. Every time I look at the pics it seems more beautiful.

Can anyone recommend a small tank for my gandalf pipe. I purchased the dual cartomizer tank with my pipe, but that sucker is loud and crackly. Kinda takes the calm feeling of smoking a pipe away because its so loud, if ya know what mean.

The carto you put in the tank is probably making the noise, not the tank itself. Perhaps try a different brand carto like boge.

My real estate agent drove me to fish.

God bless that man, and thank God I won't be working with him any longer.... The store will be a few more months folks.

Oh and if you look closely you will see the new brass RBA on that corn cob pipe.

I love the look of that RBA, and my instructors in this school are driving me to drink and wish I was fishing. I'm so burnt out with dealing with ignorant people, I just wanna crawl in my truck and forget about the world for a week. It's well past time I took a vacation.

Right there with you bro.

The tank is def not the issue, it's the dual coil carto in the tank that's crackling. It might be a little early, but I'd recommend a rebuildable like the Atmistique Diver, Killer 705, or Raven. Just do some research and see if this is something you might be interested in trying. I can tell that the Killer is NOT an option with that particular tank as you can't remove the end caps. Something like a GG Penelope looks and works very nice on ePipes.

If that looks too long for you, then the setup on Abs Elementals is the best option for you.

Stems for this atty will be optional (+$20) they are fitted specifically for this RBA since it has an eGo A sized hole.
They are true Peterson bits with the air hole coming out the bottom of the bit.
