Welcome to the club. Fine looking pipe. Enjoy!!

Thanks for the welcome! I've been stalking this thread and refraining from posting until my pipe got here.. What a long wait, but utterly worth it. As a someone who makes a living from crafts (leather) I can really appreciate everything that went into the pipe.

I just had word from Katie that my next EPM is on the way.:toast:

That said, I don't care for any of the smok cartos. The Boges are ok, but I also don't like the "sizzle" sound they produce. I've had very good experiences with the Kanger "horizontal coil" cartos.

But ... but ... "sizzle" is the closest thing to the sound of tobacco on a long hard draw :) I love the sizzle sound of any carto ... and on my RBAs.

Yeah, thanks to Matt and Katie for shipping today -- I know shipments usually go on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so this must have been to compensate for the holiday. Thanks guys!

Yeah, I got an e-mail shortly after voicing my concerns about my order saying that Matt has sent me the package. Really, really great customer service!

Had to Jump on those divers as well, thanks for the heads up on those!

Yea i picked one up also, ive never used anything that required rebuilding, but a friend on mine is pretty good with rebuilding so ill have him teach me. I also picked up some stealth 510 to 801 adapters from a different site. I tried a 801 carto the other day and i was very impressed with the way it worked, the flavor was great and airflow was much better that 510 cartos....so in order to use them on my pipes i needed the adapter. The stealth adapter only adds 1mm.

Damnit! Who posted that Diver link? Did you KNOW that $188EUR is $249USD? How could you?

Just kidding ... thanks :)

I picked up 4 as they look just about perfect for use on the go in a larger tank. One thing my genesis does NOT handle well is my abusing it in the car (tilt, flood, drain, tilt, flood, drain ... ). I don't -need- 4. I probably only NEED 1 ... but ... my wife can definitely use 1 and the other 2 -may- help me pay for the first two (yeah, I'll prostitute them out on a vape auction in a few weeks).

I think they are probably close to selling out. I say this because when I went to add a few spare parts for the Diver ... they were out of the center pins. I got 1 extra center pin and a few extra ceramic pieces. Couldn't add any more pins, they be gone.

If you're looking for a Diver, just to be sure, go order -now-. I could be wrong and their inventory of pins was just very low.

Oh and that Venus dripper is purty ... so ... I got one of those, too. I think that will be more pipe friendly ... not so sure I'm going to use Diver on my pipes or not. My CIY will be a genesis because it is meant to be my "desk" pipe. My Dublin is too small so I'll probably use the Venus there for now. I might put a smaller tank with Diver on a Mjolnir though.

Between that, my Atmizoo Roller + Pecker (lol) + Hive combo I ordered this weekend (need a good mech mod, well, I think I do anyway) ... the Greeks got a good chunk of my SUMMER budget at this point. Oh and with the Leo mod (14500 mech mod) and Arrow atomizer (17mm genesis) the Spanish and the Koreans got some of it. And Lava Tanks are about to come out. So between those and another pipe or two ... I'm done for a WHILE. Well, until the iHybrid Pure comes out. Oh ... maybe not.

Oh wait, except I just picked up 25x 510 atomizers and 25x 510-Ego adapters (decided I wanted a smaller mod connection by default) ... so maybe if I can make those give me some return in the future I'll have a vape budget again.

But for the most part I'm down to buying juice and repair parts for awhile :)

PS. I've basically just been converting old hobby and lab equipment (miniatures, wifi equipment) directly in to vaping supplies. But the other stuff is about to run out :) I think I did well though, I'll basically end up with 1 of each major type of APV along with a number of pipes.

Can Diver be used as a dripper and would an empire drip shield fit on it? If yes, how many drops would it take?

After watching a video on it, it would be a bit difficult due to the way the wick and ceramic insert are set up. It is really meant for a full tank. You would probably be better off going with a different dripper for dedicated rebuildable dripping.

That Venus dripper I picked up should work decently ... though I'm pretty sure that Matt has used a number of other rebuildable drippers that would work just as well without the hassle of importing. I just picked up the Venus because I was already doing the Diver order.

As far as I understand it, the Empire shields are meant more for 510 still atomizers. Yeah the dripper would fit through it, but it is meant to be fed in the reverse direction (Diver wants to feed from the tank and tries to limit in-flow, dripping atomizer wants to feed from the top). Might need to plug the hole on the diver (wouldn't be hard). Won't be hard to test it as a dripper once one of us get them in ... though I think some of the other RDAs out there with multiple silica strands for wicks would do better.

That was very informative. Thank you. As far as other drippers go, I know there are a lot of options but I want to make this pipe MINE (not in the literal sense obviously since I already bought it). So I decided I want it to have a 510 rebuildable the size of a regular 510 atomizer with a dedicated drip shield and a homemade stem to fit the pipe and the drip shield. The alternative is to simply use a disposable 510 atty, but I'm prepared to tinker with the Diver or wait for a different version of it rather than relying on the disposables. If the Diver doesn't offer that option, Achilles (by Imeo) might in the future. I'm a patient man. That pipe setup will turn out the way I want it. If it takes me 6 months to get there, that's fine. Your help is much appreciated at any step of the way

I will try the diver with a dripshield when I get it. I have an eBaron Pro which is a dripper with similar innards, my best guess is it would work and possibly have a dripping capacity of like 15-20 drops!.

That Venus looks like a Vision eternity clone BTW.
