Another pipe pron addict Dirq, I'll take some shots of her in a sec. I still wanna see the Dragon brass rba on your Radagast or even your Wasp if possible.

Ill take the Radagast photo before unfortunately it goes back to Matt. Not sure what I did to it but it just barely gets any current through it. Also, it looks funky on the Wasp. Its this big headed pipe with another big hunk of wood before the connector and this little tiny atty and stem. It just looks kinda weird. Plus the cone fits funny on the ego threads (kinda crooked) and then the connector is kinda crooked out of the brass and it just makes an odd looking connection.

I might take a pic anyhow just to show. I might send that back to Matt also but I can hardly bare to be without it. Thats my evening pipe every single night.

Ya Shoog, that is gapalishish. Gotta find a better solution. It still looks like an awesome pipe with an awesome atty but a little discombobulated in the middle there. God I love that pipe though. Glad you rescued it.

Ok, so I just took a couple pics of the Rada with the dragon atty. Ill post as soon as I transfer to my flickr in about ten minutes. Still have not taken any Wasp photos and I might not tonight. Up here in South Alaska (WA State) we get sun until about 9 and even 10 in the middle of summer lol.

I'm actually looking at getting a new camera for both Iceland, and more importantly pipe photos.
I'm looking at these two-
Sony nexf3
Canon eos rebel

Any thoughts? I'm not very educated on the subject...

I also have the NEX5 from Sony and it has been a great camera. The body is small and compact. The only thing is the NEX has it's own lens mount (E mount) and will not work non NEX lenses from Sony. The Sony DSLR cameras have the focus drive in the body of the camera, but the NEX has the drive in the lens. That means the lenses may cost a little more for the same quality. But Sony does make an adapter (one with the focus drive and one with out) if you ever want to venture beyond E mount.

Looks like B&H Photo has instant rebates running on the Sony cameras now (including the nexf3). May be a Sony promo going on.

NEX6 looks like a winner. I just have to justify spending nearly a grand on a camera... At least it's deductible!

Waiting for dusty to chime in on this topic too though.

Here ya go bud, a photo history of the Wasp!

Funny thing about the Wasp is that it went to some Godforsaken vape show with him. I dont mean any harm to the show, it was just the divide between me and my Wasp. I was pretty crushed. Then by a miracle it came back with him. OMG. How did that happen. I snagged it upon return.

Here it is on the show floor, second from bottom right.

You can see it used to have an ego booster hardwired in. It died and Matt installed a custom brass tube instead upon my request.

Ok, Radagast. I gotta say I was really embarrassed to tell Matt it is having issues in my care. Im rather hard on things I guess. While I baby them all somehow I create issues. Not sure what to say. I was so embarrassed I almost didnt ever want to tell him but ya know, I love it too much and it has to work. So its headed your way Monday Matt. Sorry man. Not sure what I did even. I should just buy a bunch of Vapesafe replacements now and just keep a line of credit, dont worry, Ill use them up.

So, I love this atty on this pipe it will become the very first atty I own two of. I dont like buying two of things typically but this is a must for me.

Oh, and this is my wifes hand, not mine lol.

I usually use my wifes clothing for a backdrop but this is my refrigerator, who would have thought it was such a decent backdrop lol.

Just think... all brass all the way. I'm gonna see if I can get my hands on a traditional pipe stem that I can convert to fit the Anunnaki Sun. If I can source it, I'll see if they have a long stem for your Wasp if that's all that's holding you back. The fit and line-up issue is something I thought Matt ironed out the last time you sent it in.

I was gonna comment on your sexy hands LOL.
Your also not wrong about your refrigerator backdrop.
I seriously want to get a Dragon one, but the funds just aren't there. Though it's looking like it might stay in stock long enough, or maybe not since my next payday isn't until the first of the month. I seriously how the M3 Mjölnirs are within the budget I allotted.

No, I noticed that after I got it back. Its actually the threads on the ego connector that are crooked. Its a slightly bad connector and only a freak like me and some others possibly you lol would notice. I just never sent it back. Im telling ya, if there is one pipe I dont want to be without that is it.

Got ninja posted :)

Dirq can't let it go long enough to send it back for repair!

So, a quick heads-up:

Put a Smok RSST on my dragon a few days ago. It's got a fairly short top cap. I've heard of people shorting wicks on it, even. I went to pull the top cap off and experienced significant resistance. It popped off and trailed a ribbon of stainless steel mesh. While I had trimmed it short enough to avoid shorting on the cap, I didn't account for the unusual length of the CV Universal I plugged in the top. The edge touched the wick and melted to it. Never would have happened with a regular drip tip. Was a shorty universal, too. I yanked it off and sanded it down and it's fine now, but it's something to look out for on this and similar Genesis stuff.

Many of us no longer use universals, most of the stems either fit very snug or can be sanded down a tad to fit snug straight into a 510 drip tip hole (even without an o-ring). Also gives your pipe more of a traditional stuck stem look, and is much more secure if you ever let the pipe hang from your mouth. But thanks for the heads up.
