I feel you dog. I hiked some Humboldt redwoods with Jerome in my cargo pants...and hooped with him last week...and it worked just fine with a tank and drip tip. I am just not 100% sure I want Jerome out and about to that extent, a more tube like design might stand a better chance of not getting messed up and might be a more comfortable front pocket feel. Just not sure. Anyone else want to weigh in?

The best setup would probably be like a 350mAH ego with a CE4 or 19mm tank....very small....

Revisit Pipe of the Day 14

That one really does look like a stogie. Yeah, I was a big cigar guy. I recently smoked the last of my Monte #4's and put the humidor on ice in the garage that time forgot. I play a decent amount of cards too, and unless I take a stand alone like my dragon...which I prefer not to leave the office...with me pipes are somewhat awkward on smaller poker tables. Part of the appeal certainly is a stogie vibe and feel for sure.

Here I go...

Revisit Pipe of the Day 14

This is how I usually hold it when chillin. I have no pic of me pressing the button. What I do is from this position I slide my middle or pointer finger to the end and then up to my mouth. This is the device that goes golfing with me. I walk usually but if Im in a cart it works perfect driving around with it holding it like a cigar. Thats why I got the 18350 model cigar so I could hold it like a real cigar. I like cigars, but ya, cigars could be considered awkward to many. And in this case much heavier also. So perhaps you would consider it awkward also.

Id take a new pic but it is in a box headed to EPM right now :( Matt, I included a note but forgot to mention it also had an issue where I had to press the edge of the button to get it to fire right. It wasnt always like that but evolved into that same as my Mjolnir. I think this super damp environment I live in messes with things. Its dry in the house and all that but man, we cold and wet 6 months of the year.

Is that briar? I love that wood, that's the one I'm considering on the site

Mjolnir = the ultimate rough and tumble, pocket friendly, tank friendly mod. (from us anyway).
it is by far the most compact 18350 unit on the market (IMHO).

Aw hell, looks like I cooked the vapesafe in "The Dove".

A word of caution fellas -- double check the ohms on your new brass rba's before using them!
The "Sun" that came with Davy Jones worked quite well out of the box. So, I got the Dragon Tamer, and of course couldn't wait to give it a go. (looks great on The Dove)
Fired it up and much to my dismay & disappointment, nothing. The Dove had been working really well with a Vision Eternity, it was one of my very favorites, used every day (I say that about ALL my ePipeMods)
So long story short, I then tested the Dragon Tamer and it read 1.1ohms! Now nothing else works either. Let it sit for awhile. Changed the battery. Let it sit all night. Still no fire :(
Davy's Annunaki Sun tested at 1.2ohms, and is working great.
I was using a 1.1ohm LavaGen in Boromir for a while, no problems.
So Matt, do you recall The Dove? I got it in October last year. Does it have a different vapesafe in it that's possibly more sensitive than the VapeSafe2 in the newer epipes? I'll be sending it your way soon...

I didn't realize the stock set up on the brass rba's was so low. I will have to make note of this on the site.
all of the VS circuits should be the same, but the tolerance between certain fuses may differ. There is a very fine line of safe performance levels when it comes to these fuses, a little variance between them... say .1-2 ohms could mean a world of difference depending on the particular fuse. That is why we recommend staying above 1.5 ohm.

The dragon tamer I got clocked in at 1.7 when I got it so there's obviously some significant deviation

DOH!!! The Curly Walnut Stogie is gone!!!

Luckily, that was #2 on my list and not #1.

Anyone else with an opinion on how to handle these man handlers?

Build it...
Drip it...
Fire it...
Puff it...

easy peasy lemon squeezy...
