So I have a question for you veterans of the epipemod out there. I use an eGo Booster exclusively and I'm noticing my batteries strarting to lack a little.

I'm using Boge LR's set to around 4.5-5.0 volts and rotating through the 4 batteries that I ordered along with my pipe 3mo ago along with another 2 that I got from a member on the classies. Normally I can get a good 6-8hrs on a fully charged battery. I'm getting about that now but the experience is lacking on some of my batteries now. Does the amperage discharge diminish as the batteries are cycled or something? What happens to them as they age? When should I just chuck 'em and start fresh?

Anyone run into this and can give me some insight?

Thanks

It has been my experience that 18350 batteries in a rotation of 2 pair typically show signs of degrading power after about 3 months and are pretty well toast by 6 months. I vape heavily, but I do not use a booster, so your results may be a bit shorter.

So, I'm feeling like it's time to get a pipe stem. I also need some more sauce.

I went with Grandpa's Cough Medicine before and I like it. But it's a bit "light" and I was something heavier and more like tobacco. I have been vaping 0 proof, because I quit smoking a long time ago and this is just for the relaxation and experience. I'll probably get 0 proof again. But can't decide between Long Bottom or Shire Malt. Any really good reviews or opinions on either of those?

I'd say go with the LBL, Shire is light in my opinion.
Here's a great vid on all the liquids by PBusardo->

Quick question ... do any of the pipe stems fit a regular 510 atty? Thinking about getting one of these epipes but also want to just get some shorter tips that are flat like a pipe's mouthpiece is. Thanks

Any of the Universal Stems will fit a regular 510 atty with the use of the included Universals from Cherry Vape.
This video shows a few such set ups ->

So - uhh - Hi! I'm not dead yet.

Although I almost was - Making my way back - lots of confusion..

I came back to "life" to nothing - quite literally. Somewhere along the way all my vaping gear was disposed of as well. I'm slowly making my way around, remembering things, .. Wanted to say hi to Matt and Brad's threads.

And I guess I'm shopping for a new mod and the whole setup again so I'll be poking around.

Bear w/ me as my memory is more than a little shot due to the past nine months but I do remember Matt and Brad's threads fairly well. Cheers, -Mags

p.s. I remember the Magnus Pipes but I bet they're long gone by now - whoever got them I'd love to see pictures.

I saw you posted on here and got stoked, I was just thinking about your daily 'pipe-porn' earlier and was wondering where you had been. I'll be praying for you brother.

And It looks like the Magus pipe has sold, but here is what it looked like. Magnus Major - HV and Big Battery Pipes

Thanks man - I found the old thread too. I had a few mods from Brad made from the same cut of wood. That was the whole idea here and *poof* now all of them are gone. And it was a nice L-V.

In the grand scheme of things mods aren't a big deal but anything tactile is especially important to me now.

Thanks for the Prayers - days turned into weeks turned into months. Now I'm back w/ my daughter and can go about putting the pieces back together.

So while I'm reorienting myself, I was reading juice reviews too. What are the thread favorites of the juices Matt offers? -Mags

@Magnus PBusardo did an awesome reviews on the pipe sauce line where he reviewed them all, there should be a link to it a couple posts up from this one.

I actually just placed my order for my first pipe about an hour ago and got some of the Oak Barrel Cider to try. I also ordered two sets of batteries, one of the 8" church wardens, and this beauty.

I am beyond excited to finally be getting my first pipe, its my gift to myself for being smoke free for over a year now (July 18th was my year anniversary). I've been wanting one since I saw the thread about 10 months ago. Since I live about 30-40 min from lawrenceville GA (where EPM is located) I am going to see if I can go pick it up today rather than stalk my mail man the next couple days.

Indeed, Good to see you back and well Magnus.
There were 2 Magnus pipes made BTW. One of them ended up in Malaysia.
The other one was purchased By Most Angry Industries and recently donated to Twygg's auction and fundraiser for his battle with cancer. The auction has ended, but you'll be happy to know Magnus Major has helped raise some money for a good cause.

I wish you well in your own fight. I know how hard things can be when your head gets mixed up. I had a bad experience with ephedrine about ten years ago that left my life in shambles.

Keep on Truckin Magnus, Good to have you back :)

Congrats on the pipe!

I saw about half that review and then remembered every review of his I disagree with. ;-)

Waiting for Matt to get in and then I'm hoping he'll PM me so we can talk *hint* - I need a mod STAT and still haven't gotten a pipe so I'm going to start there. I can't believe I have to start everything over. Aughh.

(I'm PMing Matt - yeah, I'm jonesing (I think that's the term))..

Oddly enough I might still have a massive store of pipe girls - I wonder if I should start that again. Hrmm. -Magnus

Thank you thank you - just missed you. And I'm glad they ended up in good homes even if I missed out.

It all started as a minor accident, I was hit by a car, and it degraded over weeks with multiple health hits. Then I started rehab and toward the end of my first rehab I fell apart. Surgeries, then my daughter had to go live with my parents for four months, etc. Anyhow - enough of that.

I'm PMing you shortly - fair warning and you can (still) tell me to frack the frack off. -Magnus

I'd like to say a big thank you to Matt and Katie, who allowed me to drive over and pick up my pipe so I didn't have to wait for the mail to come in a couple days. I've been playing with it out for about 12 hours, and I am in love. I even brought it out to me to my friends place where we sat outside and tooted on our pipes. He is a tobacco pipe smoker, and is seriously considering getting an ePipe to improve his health and not having to go outside to smoke. I'm going to do some research for him and see if I can find anything from ePipeMods or maybe Jazz Carto Pipes (he's really into traditional pipes) within his budget, which is 50-100 bucks for everything.

I've received a ton of compliments on the pipe tonight at Taco Mac (a sports bar) and from my friends and family. I repped ePipeMods and Matt's master artistry hard tonight.

I took some pictures of my new baby to show off the different combinations of what I have right now. I'm already itching to get some more stems and accessories to cover up the threads on it. The next few things I want to get are a bell cone for my chrome tank, a drip shield for my HH.357, a jazz carto pipe, a ego booster, and a peterson stem. This pipe adventure is proving itself to be more expensive than I originally thought haha.

IKEdR.jpg

Here it is with a chrome DCT and the 8" churchwarden, which is super long and impressive. It cools the vapor a good bit, but the throat hit from the pipe sauce is awesome.

KAU9r.jpg

Here is the HH.357 with my favorite white drip tip, really small and compact, I'm just worried about dripping with no shield, so i'm being very cautious.

Zfm98.jpg

This one is the HH.357 with the 8" Churchwarden. This might be my favorite use with the church warden just because the look is so streamlined.

TMeM2.jpg

And here is what i'm rocking right now as I lay in bed and type this up. Its super compact, simple, and hits hard. Makes me really want the jazz carto tank.

Thanks again to the whole team at ePipeMods, ya'll kick ....

Just in case anyone notices I do believe that's actually an AK-74 in 5.45x39 she is holding - the kissing slightly modernized cousin to the AK-47. -Magnus

Yup, that it would be. Very good eye you got there :) In Finland we all get to shoot a finnish version of AK-74 as part of the mandatory military service, its a beauty...
