Do you live in a hilly area? Or go indoors and out frequently? Altitude and temperature fluctuations cause kayfun style attys to leak.

Edit: Actually it causes all vacuum fed attys to leak. The way the Erl has to be wicked makes it far more leak resistant, though.
I live in Texas man, cold as hell one day heat wave the next. LOL

By aggressively and willfully flirting with danger, because even if your atty's very small center positive is well enough isolated within the only slightly larger (negative) 510 shroud, A) this aint what they were designed to do [look at a "real" hybrid-able atty, like the Aqua which when all hybrid-ed up makes use of a large insulator surrounding the positive pin while pushing the negative connection all the way out onto the tube threading] and then B) inevitably, your batteries will develop a cute little dimple up top with just enough concavity to ruin your next toot and maybe your face..........except of course in the case of a regulated device, whereby the chip inside will a l w a y s protect you from them dangerous dimples (right?).

Really I'm just jealous and far too chicken to try it for myself so if you're feeling confidently frisky, give it a go and don't mind me.....

Hybrid adapters. Fast Tech carries about three different types, some mods have them stock, and there is a website that specializes in hybrid adapters.

The latter is where I got my ZNA threaded adapter.

Got a link Bud? I have an original Phantom Brass Stingray that I'd like to hybridize. I also have a Stingray X but the hybrid adapter that came with it does not fit the PB Stingray. Can't believe they changed the threading.
