It'll all be good. ;) I've been lucky only had one build leak on me. With the kayfun only had one build that didn't leak on me, and the Russian never got a build to not leak. LOL. I guess this is my tank, I find it easy to build. Don't know why those others wouldn't work for me, but never could get them right.

Day 2 with the new build on my clone. No leaks while filling it and no slurpy, wet draws or popping. If this was my first experience, I would've loved this. I'm still cautious and waiting for it to leak

What was done differently with the build? Or do you think your modifications to the atty corrected your issues?

Uh oh. I haven't tried mine yet. Did you flip the glass over to see if it fit that way?

Yep...flipped it both ways. Pushed it on as far as I could and torqued down the cap as much as I could without breaking it. It looked like it *might* work so I filled it. Wrong...leak city. The juice just dripped out...I made sure it just wasn't the "initial fill leak". It would've all leaked out. I was toying with the idea of shaving down the O-rings to see if it would help.

Nothing. I added the wick ring but I tried it with it before. I only softened the edges of the holes on the post, nothing else. I think it was putting it in time-out for a week that helped :p.

better to put a smaller o-ring size... they will stretch and have less surface area. shaving the o-rings is a bad idea imho.

I've had my 1st KF leak a bit on me at first but nothing remotely close to what's happened with my Erlk clone. I've had great luck with KF's. I just ordered another one last night :D. Black Infinite KFL+ v2
I still got the kf3.1 & Russian when you tire of that erl. ;)

Well, whatever it was, I am glad to hear it is working for you now.

I rolled the dice on a FT erlkonigen having cancelled a couple due to restocking I ended up with this one.

After a couple of weeks of vaping its been good especially for not much more than the price of a genuine erlk co poly tank;)

I tend to buy the genuine atty first then load up on clones my thinking is this will be the least amount of resistance. As to be expected every new atty brings it owns learning curve, spending time with the real thing allows you to make a real assessment. Is it my kind of Atty?, Do I like the vape? and all the other variables I take into consideration.

As an example the Kayfun Lites which I have had about a dozen genuine and clones I feel are just so overated. I appreciate there easy to build but they leak every time with heat and pressure changes and after hundreds of builds and an average vape there is no way I would spend time with one.

I've never had any issues with my KF's. It's been down to the 20's in the NE and no leaking going outside. I'm afraid to take the Erlk outside because it would leak for no reason (at least none that I could tell).

How are you wicking it? I've been having issues with leaking myself.

How are you wicking it? I've been having issues with leaking myself.

My last few wicks have been:
1) inserting rayon into the coil
2) put the bottom chimney on while lifting the rayon tails
3) cut 1/8" to 1/16" from the top of the chimney part
4) shove wicks down, make sure to keep the air way from the center pin clear
5) I use one side of a tweezer to create a "tunnel" thru the rayon to the juice channels.

wet the wicks with juice and put everything back together.

I do this on all my KF's (3.1, KFL+ and KFL+ v2). Never had leaking on any of them.

If you do have some leaking, check the o-ring on the top of the chimney. Even if it looks good, replace it and test.
