A *lot* of the suppliers will sell single samples, even if they have the MOQ listed as 10, 20 etc, if you message them saying you would like to purchase a single sample, a large majority will.

My Erl Nano clone from FT showed up stateside. Last night the tracking updated to show it scanned through Chicago ISC. Shouldn't be long now.
Now I just need to make some calls and figure out what's the deal with my IBTanked glass. I've never had mail leave the sort facility and attempt delivery in the entirely wrong city before. They said it would go back to the sort facility, and then bounce back to me, but so far nothing new on the tracking.

Had a package from Canada end up in Austria instead of Australia once, that one clocked up some frequent flyer miles!

I had a package (helicopter canopy) coming from the US that somehow made it to Belgium then it was rerouted to Brasil and finally to Portugal. That package crossed the atlantic ocean three times and took 3 months to arrive but it did eventuallyHad a package from Canada end up in Austria instead of Australia once, that one clocked up some frequent flyer miles!

Well, my Aquav2 showed up today. However, my other package hasn't despite shipping first.
I contacted FT and they're going to open a claim with the post on their side. It's going to take a while to get it sorted out though so I'm still hoping the package will arrive in the meanwhile...
If there are no news by january, I'll have to find an alternative somehow

Fwiw, all of these are decent clones the only one that worries me, is the one with the red o-rings. The tank spins with it as tight as I could get it. But the rest, other than the one in the far right shiny version where you can see the machining marks, they all work very well. So I can't really say anything bad performance wise, but out of all of them the silver box ft version seems the best of the bunch.

So do you think it would make a difference to swap out the red o-rings for a set of black ones? I haven't got my erl nano clone yet, but it shows a set of red o-rings in the picture, and the spares it shows with it don't look great.
Probably. They just seem like they may be abit thin. Was gonna try that myself. Got the nano ordered too.

Believe box is labeled AMod, so maybe not. And thanks Dravell, good to know; have seen little to no info. Though with holiday shipping, mine appears to rank alongside visions of sugar plums. Cheers!
My ErlprinZ exhibits the very same spinning tank syndrome, however even swapping O-rings with a real ErlK has not solved the problem so I'm inclined to think that we've got deeper/wider o-ring grooves, which would require fatter rings.
Hey guys. just wanted to check in with the thread and offer some encouragement to those having problems with the Erlk Clone.
Thanks to jaxgator for starting this thread and helping everyone along the way.
I received my second one from Angelcigs (silver boxed, $16.99) last week. I like that it has no logos/trademark infringement. The second is as good as the first. I've had my first one for almost eight weeks now. My first build was a disaster. I saw jaxgator's link to cloudhunter's pictorial and it all came together for me. IME, rayon is king in the Erlk. It sounds like it's worth spending $3-4 more on the better clones. YMMV. NO LEAKS! I could never get my Kayfuns or Russians to not leak AND vape well at the same time. I can now lay my rig down in the car, in the hot sun and it has NEVER leaked. I can vape the tank dry with no dry/burnt hits. The compromises are much fewer and less severe with my Erlk than my other RTAs. I have no complaints with the clone that aren't issues with the authentic as well.
1. Wish the 510 connection was 1mm longer.
2. Airflow with AFC ring removed is too tight for my liking. (See fix below.)
3. Wish components were available from clone manufacturers. But authentic components ARE available.
4. If I vape the tank dry, I can get a bit of gurgling upon refill. If I close the AFC before filling, there is no gurgling.
Last week I rebuilt my first Erlk with a helical coil (not my usual twisted MC) & rayon and am loving it even more. While I had things apart, and knowing a second clone was on its way, I decided to open the center pin up a bit. It's SIMPLE. While watching some Netflix, I took my round needle file and opened the center pin hole by twisting the file with my fingertips (don't get too aggressive) into the pin. After about 1/2 an hour, I had a 2+mm opening. Now, fully open, I have too much airflow and put the AFC ring back on. I happily vape this build from 10 to 20+ watts, adjusting the AFC to match performance with the power. I primarily vape max vg e-liquid that I DIY.
I'm content with my vaping at the moment. Good luck with your builds.
