Seriously--how much better can it really be? Every new RBA has been called by someone a kayfun killer, including the Lemo. I mean, it's a coil, a wick and a tank... I know experienced vapers who are going back to dripping on 510 and 306 atties and claim it's just as good as anything else.

The more things change...

I'm just looking for a smallish RBA--well designed and user friendly. I don't sub-ohm, I don't want anything with a huge airflow. I'm not into exotic coil builds. Basically, I want a kayfun-style RBA that will give me a bit more airflow options than the Kayfun does and no leaks, no whistling, maybe top-filled.

Why can't somebody make one?

I was just about to suggest looking at the calix rba by leo, but then you said a kayfun style deck...

FWIW, Fasttech is trying to bring the nano kit back, but they don't know how long it will take. I just got another email from them.

Yeah, I've considered it too. Any of the regular size clones (20.5 and 20.7 mm diameter) will work with the nano kit, but I don't feel motivated enough. Yet.

I'm also using Kayfun glass with the FT mini-Erl (now discontinued, ). I made no oring or other changes, and have had no issues. While the glass does seems more prone to spinning/slipping on the orings but I have seem no consequences and had no issues. I am using the Kayfun Quartz Glass Tank on two different mini's.

I see the two as being different sizes.. ??

Kayfun glass tank is 1 mm shorter, but Roxy is using it and says it works just fine on her Erl. Post #1229.

Or you can get an Erl nano glass tank from IBTanked--for 5 bucks + shipping.

Well a glass tank for the nano could be the tipping point for the buy trigger finger.
1/3 the weight and like 13mm shorter than the KayfunV4 and the cool top-fill are selling points.
The main drawback is having to drain the tank to get to the build deck.

Nothing is perfect in the vaping world, yet.

If you want to get a regular size Erl from FT, I narrowed it down to those three:

Actually, getting to the deck w/o dumping the tank is possible with the Erl. A bit tricky but nonetheless possible.

Loosen top cap
Push tank off of bottom onto top cap
Tighten top cap and DT
Remove base

vapdvrr posted a video in the authentic Erl thread showing how. Doubt I'd be able to find it but maybe a link to it got posted in the OP.

ETA: Just went and looked and it was in the OP of Q'a auth Erl thread. Here's vapdivrr's video. Base removal begins at the 26:00 mark.

Yeah, the kayfun quartz glass works fine on mine. Check vacuum before filling it to make sure.

Have to tell you guys (and gals) that I may be going over to the dark side. I've been hitting on an Infinite Kayfun V4 clone for 4-6 weeks and it is just fantastic. Without doubt the best atomizer I've ever owned. I'm a stickler about flavor and the ability/ease to rewick or rebuild when mid-tank is a killer feature.

Don't want to start a religious wars but did want to pass on for others who might benefit (and just ordered a second). Okay, back to regularly scheduled programming.

I just got in the erlprinz 2 days ago and am using it on a dna 40 mod I built. I have been trying all day to try to get this thing to wick but keep getting temp protect. I'm using 28 gauge nickel wire with kojando and putting the wick half way down the juice well, very little amount. I also am using a ibtanked glass tank on it. I've been working on this thing all day and just can't get it to work, so frustrating. Thank you all ahead of time for the help.

Ha. I love my KayfunV4 Tobeco clone. Best atty ever for me.
The Erlk nano clone would be nice for it's weight and size reduction for various occasions though.
I see the EK Mini RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer stock has changed to 'discontinued' yesterday.
Don't know if that means the return of this unit is now dead rather than possibly coming, or that they just updated page. Thinking the later.
