They don't say much, do they.
Seems to have been a lot of stuff from ECITA but no clues comming from the other side.
Well presented by ECITA btw, hope it has the desired result. The cynic in me says no but then again the commission is so slow to do anything that ecigs will be much better known and understood by the time they do get round to any actual legislation.

The EU Health Commission is functionally owned by corporate interests and we don't expect much sympathy there.

They enforce a Snus ban which kills more than 100,000 EU citizens a year: between 650,000 and 700,000 EU citizens die every year from smoking-related diseases, according to their stats.

Sweden reduced the number of smokers by 40%. Smokers who switch to Snus have the same health outcomes as non-smokers. It is reasonable to expect that at least 10% of EU citizens would have switched to Snus by now, if allowed; 15% is a more likely figure. All those people are killed by the EU every year as they do not have access to safer tobacco products.
