So I've been here for a while now, but I've been doing a lot of lurking. Anyway...
Has anyone ever had a day where nothing is going your way with vaping? One where no matter what you do, your juice and your equipment seem to be completely working against you? Today was one of those days for me.
Last night I got my new ProVari mini, my first VV mod (after accidentally ripping my Ego in half). Needless to say I went a little nuts and tried everything I owned on it. A lot. I ran my tank pretty low, and I knew the carto in it would need to be changed out pretty soon, but it was working just fine.
So today I was working a 12 hour day, and didn't get a chance to load everything up in the morning, so I figured I would just bring a couple bottles of juice, my tank, and a blank carto just in case. Everything was fine in the morning, and then I went out for my first break. The tank tasted horrible now. Tried filling it a little more and putting some in the carto, no dice. No way I was getting through the day on that, so I tried filling the blank carto. It wasn't wicking too well (Boba's Bounty, so pretty thick), so I figured I would just wait it out and try again when I went to lunch.
So lunch comes around, and I'm excited to really get another go on the ProVari. I make sure the carto is nice and wet, and take a pull. It tasted completely burnt. Checked the voltage, and it was what I was using all last night (4.2). I tried messing with the carto, but nothing was helping. Ended up throwing it out the car window...
Long story short, ended up getting by on the tank for the rest of the day, barely, set it up fresh when I got home, and all is well now.
Loving the ProVari, by the way.
Figured I would make a thread to see if anyone else has had a day where nothing was going your way with vaping, and if they would like to share. Even if this is the newbie forum, figured we all have those times. Haha.
