Most people love the flavor but choke when they take a nice hit. Most are moderate to heavy smokers so I figured it wouldn't affect them this way. I guess our tolerance for TH is different. I mix my juice to between 22 and 26 mg of nicotine. It's about 50% PG to 35% VG and 15% flavor.

So what gives? Is my cough reflex shot?:vapor:

I think the draw of an ecig is different than that of a cigarette. It takes a little work with it to get it right. That having been said, there's even quite a bit of varaition among different ecig equipment per voltage, carto/atty resistance, flavors and such. One needs to spend a little personal time with an ecig...not just a hit or two.

I was a heavy smoker, and at first I thought the e-cig was super harsh. Made me really tight in the chest!

I think it has something to so with how dry smoke is, and how moist vape is, because once the smoking goo loosened up and vacated my lungs, I was able to take monsterous lungs of sweet sweet vapor with no trouble at all!

Between 30-50% vg seems to be my sweet spot!

There are some e-cig flavors out there that will make ya cough. Atomic cinnacide from TV, Dekang Desert Ship, FSUSA's floral flavors, absolutely brutal TH on those. But there are flavors that are very gentle like AwesomeVapor's organic toffee, or TV's cafe macchiado that I could drag on until the cutoff hits. It depends on the lungs, the drag style, the juice, and the atty/carto.

This one chokes out 6ml+ a day year old vaporheads. Twin dual coils at 5v? yah, your gonna choke and will never look at your little pink egos the same ever again. Good mod to explain to people that some of these PVs are not little toys.

YOU WILL BE SATISFIED, OR YOU WILL CHOKE OUT.

Might want to give some lower nic a shot. I've tried everything I could think of for a year to get my mom into vaping, adjusting all vg/pg,50-50 and everything in between, subtle flavors, etc. She's 2pk a day Salem smoker and handles those fine but she's done the death cough every time she's tried vaping even before it seemed any vapor could get to her throat, even on a 510 with a fairly high resistance atty.

Anyway I recently ordered some 6mg juice of the same flavors she's tried in the past with higher nic and she's actually vaping it. I don't know if that's going to satisfy her in the long term but it's a start and when she gets use to it she can try taking it a little higher.

I had the same reaction from my own PV when I first got it (well, when I finally upgraded to an ego, and discoverd LR attys and cartos) My friends do the same thing when they try my PV. I like mostly heavy TH juices, but I find that the low TH, moderate vapor e-juices are better to have a noobie try out. IMO
