I have an Echo charging on the wall. I have multiple empty cartomizers. I have a bazillion little vials of sample juice. I have a syringe and a needle.

Now what??

One of the juice suppliers says I'm supposed to let the liquids steep for 4-6 days. Really? Is that true for all e-liquids!!! I've gotta sit here all week?

Second - I need simple and foolproof video instruction on how to fill these cartomizers so I don't leak and destroy the battery, if it EVER FINISHES CHARGING (9 hours and counting at this point).

I have a couple of the smaller cartos for the samples - I won't be filling the monster 3ml Echo cartomizers with anything until I've settled on the ones I like.

<nervous I'm gonna screw something up>

Nah, it's just "recommended" but more often than not a shake will do it. Usually juices have been sitting around for a while before they get to you. It's only when juices are freshly made to order that you need to let them steep.

Here's a video on "the condom method" for filling the smaller cartomisers: Filling 510 electronic cigarette cartomizers using the "condom" or "push" method - YouTube

As a general rule there are 20 drops per ml so the 3ml cartomisers you'd want about 60 drops of liquid dropped straight onto the filler, then blow through the threaded end gently to clear the air channel and you should be good to go if the bigger ones don't have condoms.

Since you have a syringe, measure out 3ml or if it's a 1ml syringe pump 3 x 1ml down the side of the filler. Just push the needle between the white cotton looking stuff and the side of the cartomsier and moderately slowly inject it in.

kren, you sound a bit like myself when I got my first kit. I was "timid" thought I'd break something. You'll find out quickly that it isn't as much "rocket science" as we feel like it is. Your batteries probably came with some amount of charge in them. Using the "condom" method as was stated above, fill your carto and screw it onto your battery. Press the button. You'll hear a crackling type noise. That's ok! As the carto heats the juice it will make that sound. As you press the button, draw slow and steadily for approx. 5 sec. just into your mouth. Don't inhale directly into your lungs. Once you have a mouth full, then inhale into your lungs. Experiment with it a bit. You'll get the hang of it rather quickly.

Using a syringe to fill is very quick and extremely easy, especially with Xl cartos like the 3ml ones you have.

This is a copy and paste I wrote for someone on how to fill a Ressurector carto, but really this is what you do for all cartos. Just instead of putting in 2ml that the Ressurectors hold, you will put in 3ml for the echo cartos and however much the other cartos your using holds. Or you can just put extra in the syringe and fill slow and carefully watch the top of the filler. Once you see the juice rise to the top of the filler and it looks "slushy", the carto is full.
here ya go:

How to fill a cartomizer with a syringe:

"All you have to do is take the dropper part of the bottle off your juice and fill your syringe with 2ml for a new carto. Take the rubber tip off the carto and carefully insert the needle down the side pushing against the metal. DO NOT go thru the filler because it will move it and you could potentially break a connection and your carto. Slide the needle down the side and go all the way to the bottom. Then slowly start dispensing some juice. Dont dispense it all bc then it won't be evenly distributed. Put alittle in, then take it out and insert the needle in a different spot. I normally do it in 3 spots (in a triangle) I found it distributes the best, but you could just do it in 2, on opposite sides. Make sure the needle is at the bOttom bc then you will not have to wait at all for it to settle. Disperse slowly and you will begin to see the toP of the filler become slushy. It is full then, don't put more. If its a new carto is will def hold 2ml, if your refilling it won't take a lot so pay attention and once it gets alittle slushy stop. While your filling hold a napkin or something under the carto bc if you do it too fast a few drops will come out the battery end. If that happens its only bc you did it too fast and the poly fill didn't absorb quick enough.( that happens to me bc I am impatient and fill it in about 10 sec, so I just hold a paper towel or napkin underneath.) wipe up the drops and put the rubber cap back on the carto. Then put the carto between your hands and rub back and forth spinning the carto quickly. This will insure the liquid is evenly distributed in case you put too much on one side from the syringe.
Now you have a perfectly filled ressurector that is ready to be used right away!"

It's really easy to do and I think tou pick it up very quickly. Just watch the top of the filler carefully and fill slowly and you will see the juice rise to the top of the filler. Once the top becomes slushy, it's full.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions

That's the next on the list of their for me to try. Their fresh mint is great too. I can't wait until their shop opens back up so i can go in and sample them all. I'm only about 10 min away from them so if I like most of their juice it'll work out great for me.
