My eVic is set for 700 mah. I originally set it to 700 mah through the computer software, but I just double checked via the eVic control head and it has maintained the setting.

An Efest IMR 800 mah (true capacity 700 mah) V1 18350 flat top has always worked fine in my eVic. I have two new AW 18350 700 mah button tops. Most times I have tried using the AWs in the eVic the display powers up but it refuses to fire or fires very weakly. The same batteries work fine in my VAMO. I finally did get one AW to fire properly in the eVic, but I would recommend sticking to the eFest flat tops.

there is no 700, I jus have it set for 800

Learn how to use your Features - plug it in and set in MVR
Try that with any other device.

Interesting, I double checked and you're right. Another limitation. Btw, I'm using an eFest IMR 800 18350.

Learn, then accuse. Don't assume. No other device on the market even has Mah specific monitoring.:glare:

I'm a little confused as to which specific tube I should order for the 18350 battery.
Is it the T-mod flat top or the T-mod 2?

Could someone post a link to the one that fits on the eVic?

JoyeTech 18350 mod tube

The exact one I have right now.

"This tube is technically for the JoyeTech V2 Mod" ..to answer your question.

BIG THANK YOU! Was able to order one from the link you gave, and a battery.
Most everyone is out of stock on 18350s so this was extra nice.

Yea no problem, I love vaporkings when I was looking for mine they were the only ones that had both the tube and battery in stock and they ship fast I had the tube and battery before I got the Evic and the Evic was mailed 1st lol. Ive been dealing with them since.

I have a AW button top 16350 and it drains way too fast at 6 watts. I'll get maybe a 1/3 of a day out of it. In one 15 min vape session I lost 20% of the battery. It also turns off on me from time to time. I'm going to take up some other members recommendation and pick up an efest.

I have one of each, efest and AW both button top they both only get me about 6-6.5 hours to get down to 20%. I dont let them drop below that and I vape at about 4.5v or 8 or so watts. EFest isn't an improvement honestly I say they're about the same, It charges a little faster but thats about it. Im actually testing now to get exact numbers but its really not much of a life difference so far

The reason the evic sucks up so much juice is it's never truly off unless you shut it down. It's dumb but the puff counter and internal clock are always on while the mod is idle. I don't have one but someone at work does, we put both side by side, my mod and his evic both using a 18350 his lasts maybe 5 hours mine will get me home vaping happily.

This is very true, which is why I got a second battery. I personally knew wut to expect, A sacrifice I was willing to make when I chose to use the eVic in the 18350 config. With The 2 batteries I get thru work (630am-530) and get home on the second battery with about 50-60% and I mostly work alone so I tend to vape alot

Let my eVic go into sleep mode on the 18350 last night, 1am Battery at 22% remaining. Just powered it up and it is at 22%.
Really not seeing what people are complaining about.

I can and will say an electronic with ability to up power will eat a battery much faster than a standard mechanical. That is simply logical.

Pretty sure protected 18350's won't fit. In any case, protected Li-ion's don't work well in single battery VV mods because the batteries protection circuit kicks in before the batteries useful charge is depleted due to the draw of the boost circuit. Same reason Provape recommends IMR batteries because the Provari gets wonky at higher voltages unless it has a high drain battery in it. I'm also quite sure this is why Joye limits the Evic to 11w so it can use longer life Li ion 18650's.

I only get several hours out of a 18350. Yes, I vape way to much lol. Personally, I rather carry a plastic battery box with 2 couple of spares in my pocket rather than haul a big honking 18650 tube around. Battery box has simply taken up residence where my Zippo used to reside.
