Worked last night...now nothing. Will not power on. Did the usual resets and MVR reloads from the website....nada. Anyone?

Did you check the battery, is it reversed? If not it may be the fire button, that would explian why you are able to upload to it but not use it.
Remove battery
Clean spring and top battery contact with alcohol
Lay aside for an hour or so - try again.
