I'm using an Ego pass through 1100mah with CE5 clearomizer, and want to buy a little upgrade from my current device. I was wondering which is better a joytech Evic, an Ego VV or Ego V V2 Mega? I was leaning to the evic because i can change the battery and learned that it goes up to 5.0volts, but the ego vv or ego v v2 mega goes up to 6.0volts. I'm not really into mods, i just thought that with changeable battery it's better than buying a new device every time it dies out. Please help find pros and cons of each device and which is much more preferable to buy.

I have the eGo VV V2 Mega and this is my first upgrade. I originally had the eGo-T. I love the Mega. The battery lasts me all day, however, this would depend on how much you vape and your preferable voltage. I usually keep mine at 4.8-5 v. I like that I can plug it in and when it is done charging it shuts itself off and stops the charge, unlike my original eGo. The only downfall is if you look at the battery indicator it may say it is full, but it may not really be really full. For example, when I first plugged it in, the booklet said it should take 3-4 hours for a full charge, but when I looked at the indicator only 1 hour later, it said it was full so I stopped the charge and started vaping. It died within about an hour and a half. That is probably the only issue I have personally is that the indicator doesn't always mean it is fully charged. Now that I know that, I plug it in before bed, with my cell phone, and go to sleep and I know when I wake up it is fully charged. This is just my personal opinion. Hope this helps.

an alternative to the mega is the innokin itaste v3. viper vapors has them for $30. i like mine more than the mega because i don't have to worry about the voltage. i think it's the cheapest variable wattage device you can buy from US sources. i have 3 more on the way so i don't have to switch tanks all the time. (now i can relax. in about a month or 2, if i'm still alive, i'll order a cheap mod or 2 from fast tech). i think that you get more flavor playing with the wattage and don't have to worry as much about burning out coils. the coils in my bcc tanks seem to be lasting longer.

i agree with cali/tex girl about charging megas. i charge it until the the display shuts off - get a longer life that way.

I have Ego Vv2 Mega and love it! I just got the Itaste V3 on Saturday an so far I am liking it although I am finding it seems to have a hard time with the Viva Nova's but that may be that I need to figure out the best voltage and wattage. I have been looking at the Vamo 4 currently.
