Hello All,

I've got an evic and i had to change the starter tube because it had a horrid cheapish feel lol. It almost matches the finish on my aluminum folding bike frame paint. I purchased a black tube and chrome looking tube set. I have also picked up a shorty black tube 18350. I absolutely love the shorty mode on the evic. This thing is supremely tiny and it actually gives the evic a very premium feel to it now. I had one question and request.

One thing to note i am a bit of an aesthetic ...... My device has to look good as well as perform decently.

Now i am looking for a stubby type of tank/clearo which would make this the most perfect device!

Can anyone here suggest some supremely stubby tanks which work well, look good and are not too much to maintain?

I have tried the following:

iClear 30 (Get a weird metallic taste from it and it just looks freaking weird on the evic)
Vapeonly BCC (not as consistent as i would have hoped)
Vivi Nova (decent but it feels like my juices are mellowed out too much for me)
Kanger protank (tried it and i think its very airy vs the other tanks)

the width on these devices are what i am looking for but i am looking for a much shorter height as these are all a little bit too tall for my taste.

If anyone here has a solution and are currently rocking a similar setup with a stubby tank on the evic in shorty mode would you mind posting some pics along with a quick synopsis of the tanks?

Since i have purchased my devices i am looking to make it financially feasible vs analogs.

I request the pics because i do not want to go and start buying all kinds of tanks which are not ideally what i had in mind.
Sorry if this is a lot to ask but i am trying to now get into budgeting mode. lol.

Currently if i put my spending on a full stop i would be able to match my analog spending output vs my ecig startup costs in one month if that makes any sense.

I have already calculated out per month, if i were to spend on juice vs analogs i would be way under spending vs analogs which is a huge step.

I just want to find a consistent setup so i am not out buying all these different tanks (just to try them out)
I do not mind spending a bit for that ultimate tank setup.

Thanks again!

You guys and gals are the best!

I wont recomend the evod heads,, if you look close the protank heads have a shorter positive pin that wont go out the 510 threading pole in the protank, the evod heads are longer and came out the 510 threading pole and will damage the 510 connection pin in the evic eventually,, can push down then other 510 wont fire at all

An airflow controller would do the trick in a safer way

Here is a photo of my Protank with Evod heads. NO protrusion or issues, and have been using them for as long as ive had my Evic. Also one should know if they hit the pin snug there is no point on wrenching the tank further onto the 510

Hmmm. Yeah looks perfect.. I just put 2 diferent evods heads on 1 fits perfect like yours and the other is longer.. Both from diferent vendors..both very reputable vendors.. Thanks for that photo i gave a second chance to my protank and see. First time i try the longer evod head didnt fit very well also i get the protank flooded outside and my twist endup with juice all over.. But now after i check the otherhead looks like this one fits much better..

Thanks again you may put out of doom my 2 protanks

Haha no problem. Just have to know that once you see that sucker say atomizer detecting youre good, only a tiny bit more pressure to get it snug and stop.

I got my Evic from someone cheap and they had wrecked the center pin by wrenching something down onto it(ive noticed the length of the 510 varies between devices). Its very easy to fix (same fix as the Vamo 9.9ohm wont fire error) You can use an eyeglass flathead to pry the 510 center pin up a tiny bit, then use a pin to tear out the stock oring. I then used a #60 oring from Home Depot which i made 1 cut in it, then started at one end and stuffed it under the 510 all the way around. I switch devices a lot and it holds up great and always provides a really snug connection. Im actually considering just doing it to all my 510 devices as the stock oring is very flimsy/weak

You can see the rubber oring, and also(if you look carefully about 5oclock) the cut i had to make in it so i could stuff it from one end to the other under the 510

Does anyone have a link to that evod head you are referring to?

I am a bit more confused now lol.

Today i was actually looking at carto tanks as some of them seem a bit stubbier. I actually do like the look of the protank and i might try what was suggested earlier.

Any suggestions on a few carto tanks? I was looking at boge f15-f16-f17 so far. Man so much stuff to look at lol.
I have a friend who swears by the carto tanks. I am not looking forward to the maintenance on them if they leak like mad.

Also some pictures of those tanks on an evic would be awesome.

EVOD Coil Unit For eGo MT BCC 1.6ml

These are where i get my heads, they just screw right into the protank base like the regular protank heads. Free shipping and e-cig or ecig for coupon code keeps em pretty cheap. I used 1.8ohm but with the Evic its not really important. Their juices are also out of this world good but not a cheap as most sites. If you like tobacco flavors their Red flavor is amazing, and their strawberry cheesecake is my #1 juice. They run thick, i use 70pg/30vg in my tanks

This is with my protank and beauty ring that comes with the protank

@ Volume Control.
Hey man thanks to you my Protank's are on duty again. Looks like kanger have some quality control issue, like with the Old T3 some exellent t3 out there and some awfull ones. Why i have one evod heads longer than orher? Both came in the plastic sealed with foil so they must be kanger oem.. From myvaporstore and discountvapers 2 very well known for exellent honesty stores.

For the OP i have few metal vivi novas "vision" that they also looks awesome. I think that the protank looks exellent with the chrome top ring cover on evic not a fan of the roundish look on top of the protank but match the curve of the top cap on evic and look exellent on evic. But on flattop devices with sharp lines doesnt match very well
