eVic VT-Mini Ti resistance trouble

I bought this eVic VT-75W Mini off ebay used. I noticed that after locking in the Ti resistance at say, 5.2, i am having it jump almost immediatly to .81-.95. It has 3.0 firmware and is an authentic mod. I have watched a few video's and i do not see their resistances jumping up like mine is. This happens when i am just pushing the fire button without vaping and in te mirrior, it also does it while vaping. The mod is working flawlessly, so i need to know if there is a problem.

If this is a problem, i am in tough with the seller and they said they only used it in SS TC mode. I would have to deal with this person kind of fast if i need a refund or something. As i said, the mod is working fantastic, at 40W and 430F temp this is a beast. So much better than my VT-60W 5000 Racing black mod that used more wattage and higher temp by a lot to achieve what this mini puts out at lower wattage and 70F less temp.

Any help appreciated, need this sorted.

I think i might have figured something out. Does this mod read dynamic coil resistance with the firmware update? I know my eVic VT-60 did not and it was also an older mod that was not upgradable. Possibly this is the case with the mini. As long as the baseline is locked, all is well i guess?

Why does this forum call them eVic VT? Mine is an eVic-VTC Mini. Isn'y the eVic VT a completely different mod?

I leave the C for Control out because that extra keystroke just kills my finger lol. I just usually call it VT for short reall instead of VW(i have typed that as a name for it in a reply lol) just because i am just use to calling it that.

Do you use one? Am i right on the dynamic resistance thing?
