eVic with Protank 3, another RCS tank, both with weak flavors... I want strong flavors

OK, I started off with a RCS Titan tank from Totally-Wicked. It was ok on flavor, but the vape was very weak.

I then purchased a Protank 3 to use on the Titan tank controller/battery. The vape was much better but slow to heat up.

Then I purchased the Joyetech eVic and the Protank 3 starter vaping immediately.

However, a friend of mine bought the e-Go twist kit from a local vendor and the flavor was awesome. As a test, we used the same liquid and the flavor difference was like night and day.

I really don't want to buy another kit at this point as the eVic should do anything I want.

Can anyone recommend a good atty, cartomizer, drip tip, etc. that would deliver really strong flavor and vape? I've seen people recommend the Vivi Nova as well as the iClear 30. Any others that would deliver a punch on flavor?

Hi and Welcome to ECF!

What delivery device was on the eGo twist that you tried? Seems like that one has your preference. If you are keen to cartotanks - they are certainly worth a shot for flavor and vapor production (has to be a good one like IBTanked)

Also - if you want a better version of what your friend had on the eGo - tell us what you can about it and maybe we can scrounge up some ideas for you :)

The evic isn't the problem, so your investment was not wasted. The issue is your topper. Try your friend's tank on your evic (if it fits - unclear from your post) and see if that turns your crank. If it does, get one of those.

I'll try that tomorrow if she is at work. I'm pretty sure it will fit. It will just look funky as it is a mini tank of some sort.

I'm finding that being able to adjust voltage can really effect vapor/flavor. i have a pro tank II mini on a vv with 2.2 ohm head. using halo tiki juice @ 3.7 volt the flavor is weak and not very tasty but @ 4-4.1 it rocks

Yeah, I put in the last new coil I had in my Titan RCS tank (single coil 2.4 ohm) and tried it at 4.2v and the flavor and vape will suffice for now.

I'm suspecting that I just went too high on the voltage with the Protank 3 with 2.0 ohm and probably ruined the only coil I had left. I've should have known better as I have a degree in electrical engineering technology. Oh well. I guess I could try ordering new coils on the Protank and see if that makes a difference, but it seems the dual coils don't last long for a heavy vaper like me.

This is my first comment as I've been vaping for only month now. I was smoking a pack of cigarettes every conscious 12 hours prior to the transition. I have to say, I just bought my eVic and Protank 3 today! I basically jumped from the Kangertech eVod setup, to the Joyetech eVic and Kangertech Protank 3. Wow, what a difference. I've been fooling around with the settings and it appears that around 3.9 volts the juice quality is superb. Higher volts equals more vapor/less flavor and vice versa. I really like this forum as I it really helped me in my choice of APV devices. Shout out to Joyetech! KangerTech! and to J-Vapes e-liquid.
