I had a Vapeasy Evl reaper v3 in my cart, along with a Hussar project x rta and chose the project X. But I have heard nothing but good things about the Reaper - amazing flavour, easy to build, no leaking and so on :thumb:

@Janusz is a fan of the Reaper
I've seen the Hussar before and I didn't like it because I find better flavor from bottom air inlets. Side air inlets just never worked for me.

Reaper is great for very loose MTL or RDL but overall IMHO Project X is much better . I got spoiled by Project X and since I got second one my Reaper is not in everyday use... but still not retired as dozen of other RTAs :)

I had over dozen bottom air inlets RTAs ( Doggies, Galaxy, Dvarws, Sirens, Gotank Savour,Reaper) and none of them can provide better flavor than Hussar. I think those side holes are position in such way that air hits coil perfectly if you rest your coiling rod in those notches during coil mounting...that... plus absolutely smallest chamber in any atty I owned provides great flavor. In regards to easyines of building (securing coil and wicking) Hussar is easiest of all RTAs I own...PERIOD! I can install coil and wick it without my reading glasses in fraction of time compared to Doggie or Dvarw.

We had some talk on Reaper v3 clones somewhere here. It's a good tank, but not really a MTL tank. It has very tight airflow options yes, but the removable ring for setting it is too loose and lets too much air in (at least in YFTK clone it is). Flavor is great and easy to operate, wicking is superb. For RTDL it should be excellent.

Hello @ricks, the Coppervape Hussar Project X now comes in the original and newer MTL versions. They're certainly of interest as they do produce good flavour and are easy to build.

Also Ulton Tripod (Atmizoo Tripod clone) may well be of great interest to you, as it has bottom airflow and can be modified for either MTL or DTL with the use of various inserts and adapters. They have good flavour and are easy to build.

Only downside with the clones though is the o rings, they're not the right sizes which makes things more awkward than they need be. But o rings can be replaced.
