Hi All,

I've been reading forum posts for about 3 weeks now and wanted to thank everyone for all the great information.

I just got my first PV which is the Intellicig EVO. I'm really enjoying it except for I keep hitting the 2 minute cutoff. I'm taking long soft drags like I've read about on this great forum, but after a few drags it puts itself in that 2 minute hibernation mode. It's getting a little frustrating. Now I know that it's supposed to protect the atomizer from over heating, but from watching videos and reading posts, I should be nowhere close to that point. I've tried two different batts with the same result. Do you think it would help if I tried a different atomizer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear that the evo doesn't work for you, Pete. It's my favourite e-cig because it delivers very good vapour with short drags, so no need to hit the cut-out. It also has fantastic battery life and not one Evo atomiser has failed me since I started using them end Nov/early Dec '08. I also love my mini-pipe but that's not strictly an e-cig.

thanks chewy, and not just for the advice but for the EVO :D For anyone out there looking for a great guy with great customer service, chewy is your man. Puresmoker better watch out :)

Like I said, it's my first PV so it is taking a little to get used to. I seem to be doing much better now. Enjoying the RY4, but I'm still not getting as much vapor as I would like, but I'm hoping once the atomizer breaks in it will be a little better. I'm also going to pick up some glycerin to up the vaper.

The battery life and 'very' quick recharge was definitely a plus for the Evo.

I'm sorry cellwho ,you might have one of them faulty evo batts ,
I have had a few too (the evo genie bats). They aren't all the same
in the length of time before you hit cuttoff .Some are just to sensitive.

It's a shame really that they have this stupid cutoff (it was there choice not the manufacturers)). it spoils what would otherwise be a great little ecig.

You're welcome Cell, and thanks for the kind words! I use the EVO also, so if you have questions, you can e-mail me directly also.

Matt :)

Hi Matt. I just did email you, then realized you were on the forum. Would you tell us what size cartridges are in the mouthpieces that you are selling. There seems to be three different size cartridges for the Evo. I'm looking for the larger ones.

Thanks,
Terry
