Finally intellicig has sent my order!!! and it seems that they wont respond to peoples emails about order status until they actually send you the order which i think is pretty bad. Costumer service should not leave people out in the dark specially when you have already taken their money!!!

When i ordered mines they didnt have the black evo kit in stock so i had to buy the parts separately. I got 2 of the black small batteries, 2 white atomisers, usb charger and 25 black carts.

In fact i had lost all faith in intellicig that i went to totallywiked USA and ordered me the 901 platinum from them.

What is the difference between the 901 totallywicked sells than other 901's? I noticed in the description it says it has a motorola microprocessor but i have yet to see other websites selling 901's ever mentioning that. I just need to get the usb passthorugh ( waiting for steve to get some in stock) for this thing and if its as good as people say it is then it will probably become my new vaping in front of my pc device. While probably using the EVo with its good battery life on the go.

For those having the evo, 901 and a penstyle which one offers better vapor production? For when im at home i want the ecig that offers THE BEST vapor production but i dont want something huge like the screwdriver (or i think thats what its called)

Anyways for those still waiting for their evo orders my order number is #143** so if you are close to that chances are that you will get yours sent shortly.

Having just received a penstyle (classic), I'd say it gives the best vapor although curiously the vapor tastes cool in temperature compared to the others. I'd say that the penstyle on a battery is roughly equivalent to a 901 on a passthrough (although the latter tastes warmer to me). The evo, whilst good, is better a short quick drags rather than long drawn out drags producing plumes of vapor that the other two are more suited to (IMHO).

(As a final comparison even though you haven't asked, I'd say that the supermini falls somewhere in the middle between the 901 and the evo and, for it's size is pretty good too to be honest although it's a little bit more temperamental in my experience; the evo is the most consistent without a doubt.)

Did you get the penstyle classic from Steve?

Also are there any other kinds of penstyles that are better than the classic ones? I did a lot of research on e cigs but it seems like theres little information on penstyles...unless the classic is the best one. Is there a usb passthrough for the penstyle? I found that with my ecig at least (smoke everywhere, some kind of generic LT-7 i think) i get the best vapor when its fully charged...it goes down hill quick after that though. So im guessing that the 901 with a passthrough will get the most consistent vapor productions since its always charged?

Also since you say the penstyle gives more vapor out of the 3, would you care to rate them from a 0/10 scale for me? its so i can get a better understanding of vapor production.

Thanks

No, I'm in the UK so I got it from Electronic Cigarette | Free Yourself... | e-cigs Welcome (fantastic service always BTW)

I don't think there is so much information on classics because they're the oldest design and because people seem to want smaller and the most cigarette like (at least in the beginning).

I've got an 801 clone, the RN4072 but then I think all of mine (except the EVO) are clones of one of the x01 series and I can't really compain with their performance overall. The batteries are a bit flaky but I guess that a problem with the design regardless of the manufacturer. Yes, the vapour is better when fully charged, I believe the 901 has a 180mAh cell whereas the 801 (classic) has a 280mAh cell or something like that so it's significantly longer lasting (and bigger!) Also the liquid top off time is longer/better. Something like 30 draws for the 801 versus about 15-20 for the 901 but this is very subjective and personal - I prefer the carts wet almost all of the time.

With a passthrough, vaping consistency is there of course (there is no charging, it's just always powered because it's plugged in). As an aside, I get better vapour from a mains powered USB adaptor (giving 1A output) rather than my laptop which I think only is giving 500mA output. I think some computers can output the full 1A however.

Also since you say the penstyle gives more vapor out of the 3, would you care to rate them from a 0/10 scale for me? its so i can get a better understanding of vapor production.

I guess something like this:

801 on passthrough - don't know, I don't have a passthrough for this one
801 on battery fully charged - 9/10
801 on battery average - 8/10
901 on passthrough - 8.5/10
901 on battery fully charged - 7.5/10
901 on battery average - 6/10
Evo on battery fully charged - 6.5/10
Evo on battery average - 6/10

Comparisons with the Evo aren't really fair because it's just "different"

Thank you for the quick and very informative replies.

I think that the penstyle with a passthrough from Steve ( i live close to him so i get items in 2 days after he ships it!!) would be my next purchase.

Im still unfortunately kind of forcing myself to smoke analogs because my current e cig is so unreliable and the battery lasts a good 10 big hits before vapor production starts going down hill....and quickly. Hopefully the 901 and Evo changes all that. Ever since i have started with e cigs i have found myself not enjoying analogs as much anymore. I think however so far e cigs is costing me so much more money!! It seems for me is not a money saver because i find myself vaping all day now.

Still though do you know the difference between the wicked 901 (since it states their batteries have a Motorola microprocessor) and other websites 901's (which makes no statements about having a Motorola microprocessor)? Or are they all the same and totally wicked is just trying to make their 901's seem more advanced?

LOL, I have to set the record straight for future readers: The screwdriver is not huge. :D

It's not much longer than the 901, definitely shorter than the penstyle, and just fatter at the battery. You certainly don't hold it like a cigarette, but I never did that with my penstyle either.
