My best vape on this device is with the factory wrapped coils at 2.5 ohm range. The airflow is big and it makes a respectable amount of vapor.

When I wrap my own coils the draw tightens up a lot and vapor production is weak. So I am associating airflow with vapor production.

I am using 2mm silica and either 32 or 30ga kanthal. Under a magnifying glass it looks like the factory coils are thinner than my 32 gage. Maybe I need to try 34?

What is the secret to air flow in this device? I like the light airy draw ad vapor production but I can't seem to reproduce it!

Figured it out...the bottom pin that goes into the insulator has a flat spot on bottom and a channel cut into it which has to be there to flow air because the flat bottom bumps against the flat of the battery. What I have found is that some of the channels are cut really shallow which restricts the airflow to the hole that feeds the coil. So it had nothing to do with my coils.
