Evod and Pro tank mini 2 don't fit MVP?

They won't even get near the threading. Is this normal?

Kind of sucks as I ordered both for the MVP and neither fit. It's an MVP 1.0.

Take off the beauty ring on the MVP? I have the reg PT2's and they work just fine with or without. Don't know if the bases are different...

Nope, just checked, Mini is ego threading, MVP is 510 as is full size PT2. There's probably an adapter available.

I had to pull the post softly (CAREFUL! YOU MIGHT RENDER YOUR MVP USELESS) and finally did accomodate the Kanger T3, but the Puritank (with PT heads) is just too short to make contact. You could use a 510 to ego adapter or a 510 to 510, or, get a little tin foil or washer inside the connector.

Both the evod and pro tank come about a 1/4 inch short of even touching those threads

The MVP v1 originally didn't have ego threads just threading for the beauty ring that was not ego threading. It was added later on so maybe you have one of the older ones.

the factory setting of the contact pin on the kanger heads can sometimes be pushed a little hard and the rubber garmet that is between the shell and the pin, you just need to pull it slightly, you can take it all the way out and then put it in just a bit, when you screw the tank onto the device the pin will go into the perfect place and you will have a good contact

There is a shop in Boulder. It's up on University Hill though, that place is SLAMMED with college kids. I may just brave it though to get an adapter. Maybe they'll have Kanthal wire too since USPS gave mine to someone else who apparently has no intention of bringing it to me.

You could try Steam Spot in Louisville! They have a TON of stuff in there (just got my Kayfun and Turtle Ship mod there.) They are very willing to help and trouble shoot with you. Just take South Boulder road and you'll be there in a jiffy. Best customer service EVER. Maybe call ahead to see if they have the adapter you need. (303) 926-8273. They have everything you need to rebuild. Such a great shop, can't rave about them enough.
