EVOD battery problems

since i started vaping i've had various problems...starting with tanks, my first kit i bought was a lotus bottom feed, after a week it started leaking the eliquid into the battery...well i went to the club and lost the whole ecig. So i bought an evod battery and a tank that uses the inner threads of the battery, within a few days the tank was wobbling and soon enough i could get it to stay connected at all. i bought an adapter thinking that would be the solution only to end up with the same problem a week later. this is upsetting because i really like the tank i have with 4 wicks (gets lots of flavor and big hits) but i dont have a good solution to make my setup work. at this point im considering building a more expensive piece but don't know where to start

When my top isn't sitting right on my battery, I think the issue has been some kind of "foreign matter" every single time. The battery well, with the small inner threading, is particularly susceptible to having something lodged between the raised part, and the threads. The threads on the inside of the atomizer can also collect these foreign particles. It took me days to realize this was happening with my atomizer, and fixed the problem right up. It happens to me when I put assorted pieces in my bag or pocket; the threads are junk magnets.

Also, welcome to ECF!

two things to check for, first, turn off your battery, then clean your contacts on the tank and the battery with some alcohol and a paper towel. make sure theyre dry before ya try it again. if that doesnt do the trick, look at the battery from the top where the tank connects, youll see a little button deep in the well. that button is floating technically, so if you get a thumb tac or a paper clip you can GENTLY pry up the button, not all the way, just give it a little nudge and do that all the way around the button. then try the tank. sometimes the threaded contacts on tanks are different sizes so if you tighten down one tank, the button gets pushed down and then when you try another tank with a shorter contact, it wont work.

If Conner is saying that the tank is wobbling while screwed on I'd be more inclined to think damaged threads. Especially since they say the tank screws into the 510 connection. Based on them saying it's wobbling I'm inclined to believe that they don't employ a "Beauty Ring" as a stabilizer.

Connor, do you put your battery in your pocket with the tank on?

If you look at the threads on the battery, do they have a sharp edge or do they look crushed?
