Evod Coil Assembly in a Kanger T-3 Tube?

I wonder if a Kanger Evod coil assembly and its base will successfully work in a Kanger T-3 tube(the upper part with the no-choice drip tip).

It would eliminate the damned narrow window visibility problem for us oldsters and increase the juice capacity.

dodari, I just tried it, with less than optimal results. It may be doable. I didn't put time and effort into fiddling with it. If you don't want to put any effort into it (like me), I'd just put up with the EVOD for the EVOD heads until the Pro tank gets here, real soon now, and jump on that real quick like. Your call.

Yup.
The gap at the right arrow doesn't seem like a big problem; it does make a seal there. The gap at the left arrow caused insta-gurggle.

Duh, another one of my senior brainless malfunctions, I knew I had seen the subject before.

Thanks Turdle and Zipper, one try and one look is worth a thousand guesses. Maybe an extra cup to shim up the gap would work, maybe not. The thread gap at the base looks possibly non-fixable.

I've seen the pre-view on the Pro Tank, wonder if the coil heads are the same as Evod or at least be rebuildable. Guess I'll wait.

I thought if you robbed a o-ring and a cup seal from a "Dead Head" (Lol for those of us who know that term) that maybe it would work.
I figured it would just start leaking anyway after a few refills, and not worth the effort. Kanger was shrewd when they designed the eVod to make sure we were forced to re-buy....

From the pictures I've seen and Pbusardo's review, it looks like the Pro will be very a similar coil design to the EVOD but with a longer tube.

like i said in the other thread,,i am using evod coil/heads on 3 of my T3s,i have not had a problem yet,,but tomorrow is another day .

if you are having a problem with it,,common sense tells you not to do it.

i have done a lot of things that folks said was not possible and not had the problems that other folks have had with their clearo's.

maybe I was born under a lucky star.

i think the taste is better,,but i don't know why.

i ordered some 2.2 coils from GVs saturday they may change flavor.

i was disappointed to find out that it was 1.59 for one coil and not 1.59 for a 5 pack,,i guess the picture of the 5 pak threw me off.

so i guess i will be getting 6 coils instead of 30,,i should have known that it was to good to be true.
i will just make my coils last longer then i normally do .

i have found a place to get them a little cheaper when i need them.
i had bought 2 5 paks last week and was ignorant that i got them cheaper then GVs

OK… I think you guys jinxed me. I used the Evod/T3 combo for a month with no problems, but now suddenly I can’t get the coil to stay threaded on tight. Three times in the last few days my coil came off and dumped out my juice. I guess I’m back to using the Evod Tank.

I did get some new juice from GV that is darker than what I usually use. It tastes a little different, but I'm getting used to it. At least I can see it better through the little window.

I’m really bummed. The T3 tank was working so good. Maybe it messed up the threads on the Evod coil base a little. I tried it with a different T3 tank with no luck. Fortunately it still works great with my Evod tank.
